River Plate vs Argentinos Juniors: Betting on a Draw Win for Los Millonarios

River Plate is in fourth place in the standings of Group A of the League Cup. If they win on Monday night, they will definitely climb to second place, and possibly take the lead. River Plate's home stats are sixth in the group, with two wins in four games and one loss.

Argentinos Juniors

As for the Argentinos Juniors, the team is an under one. At least four last matches ended with a TU (2.5). The team managed to knock out Club Olimpo from the Argentine Cup. In the Liga Professional they lost to Defensa y Justicia, outplayed Velez Sarsfield and Banfield. Overall, Argentinos Juniors are in sixth place in the Group A standings, with 14 points. Should they win this time, the visiting team would likely advance to the top-4 if they win on Monday night. On the road, Argentinos Juniors have the fifth-best statistic in the group, two wins in four games on a 5:5 goal differential.

Expert Betting Tips

The group stage of the Liga Professional is a rather short-lived competition, and River Plate is still far from a playoff spot. In that regard, a win over Argentinos Juniors could be of great help to the Millionaires. It is important to note that River Plate won their last two matches against the Argentinos Juniors 3:0 in the Liga Professional and 2:0 in the Copa Libertadores.

In midweek River Plate had a tough away game against Alianza Lima, which took a lot out of the Millionaires.
