The Genoese are unlikely to retain their place in Italy's top flight and will finish the championship as a Serie B side. Sampdoria is unbeaten in nine successive rounds and have suffered six defeats in that stretch, the most painful of which came in the previous fixture. At the San Siro they lost to Milan with a score of 1:5. Sampa will now be in last place in the table for sure. On top of everything else, their goal difference, 22:67, is impressive.
Sassuolo
The Neroverdi have slowed down in recent times and approach the match against Sampdoria with a four-match unbeaten streak. A disappointing stretch, although it should be noted that the level of their opponents at this stage has been exceptionally high. Sassuolo lost away to Lazio (0:2) and Inter (2:4), drew at home to Bologna (1:1) and, in the previous round, missed out on a draw with Monza (1:2) following Ruan Tressoldi's sending-off.
Expert Betting Tips
Sassuolo has been short on points in recent matches, in particular in the previous round having completely outplayed their opponents in the first half, they even missed out on a draw in the second half against Monza. In the game against Sampdoria, the Neroverdi have a good chance of rehabilitating themselves. The Genoa side are nine matchdays unbeaten, long relegated from Serie A and in a very poor emotional and playing condition. It seems that Sassuolo will have no problem at all in picking up three points here.
