Bengaluru has not performed to the best of its abilities this season. Having won only three games in the entire season this could be their worst season in ISL to date. They are sitting in eighth place with nine points adrift of sixth place. The blues have a very slim chance of making it into the playoffs. They can however change things around with a win against southern rivals, Hyderabad FC which will give them a major confidence boost. Bengaluru won their last ISL game against Jamshedpur.
Bengaluru FC Predicted lineup
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu; Prabir Das, Sandesh Jhingan, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Parag Shrivas, Namgyal Bhutia, Suresh Wangjam, Danish Farooq, Javi Hernandez; Roy Krishna, Sunil Chhetri.
Hyderabad FC Form
Hyderabad is known to be proficient goal scorers but they have only managed to score 15 goals from 10 games. They came out as 1-0 victors, the last time these two sides met in ISL. In terms of qualification for playoffs, Hyderabad is sitting comfortably in second place, just two points behind high-flying Mumbai. The Nizams will take the opportunity to stamp their authority and go top of the table with a win against Bengaluru.
Hyderabad FC's possible lineup
Gurmeet Singh; Nikhil Poojary, Odei Onaindia, Chinglensana Singh, Akash Mishra; Joao Victor, Hitesh Sharma; Mohammad Yasir, Halicharan Narzary, Joel Chianese, Bartholomew Ogbeche.
Bengaluru FC vs Hyderabad FC expert tips
We are expecting a very even game with two teams playing for two very different goals in mind. We expect less than 2.5 goals in the game as both sides are not doing well in front of the goal. Hyderabad is clearly the favourite to win this game. Bengaluru has not won two games consecutively this season and we expect the same scenario to be played out in this game.
