In the return leg for the right to participate in the Bundesliga next season, Hamburg will take on Hertha Berlin. The first game ended with a somewhat sensational 1:0 victory for the hosts. Now to play in the elite German division, the Old Lady needs to bring a victory from the north by two goals or more.

Counting the victory over Hertha, Hamburg has a five-match winning streak. Before the first clash with Berlin, the Berliners outplayed Regensburg, Ingolstadt, Hannover and Hansa. Hamburg had the 4th home statistic in the division in Bundesliga 2, +9=6-2, 36:17 goal difference. The victory in the first match is extremely important, because the coaching staff of the North are free to choose any tactics, while, Hertha in any case will have to go forward with all forces and take risks.
It was a very intense game. Hertha gave their all and so did we. They are still the Bundesliga team and the favorite of the pair. I think we defended very well, maybe it took some time to get into the game, we were not as brave in the beginning as the coach would have liked, but in the second half we played bolder

Unlike Hamburg, Hertha has a three-match losing streak. Before the failure against Hamburg, the team fell to Mainz at home and on the road to Dortmund. The Berlin fans hardly liked the Game 1 performance of their players. Only six shots to Hamburg, and only three ended up in the net. Unless Magath fundamentally changes something in his team, Hertha will relegate in the next season in Bundesliga 2.
We didn't have the right compactness, like we did in our previous games, in the first leg. Niklas Stark, for example, was not at the peak of his powers – he wasn’t able to close down the gaps which Santi Ascacíbar’s absence left open. I'm sure we'll be able to revisit the level of performance we gave against Dortmund and control this game more than we did in the first leg, though.
Expert Betting Tips
Hamburg plays well at home. The northerners won the opening match, and the result is quite predictable, Hamburg looked better than their opponent. In addition, Hertha has lineup difficulties, which prevent them to fully develop. The guest statistics from the Old Lady is not impressive either. As for the outcome, we believe that Hamburg will not lose, we wont be surprised by a draw. As for the total, then, as well as in the first match, we do not expect high performance, the price of the upcoming game is very high.
