Clermont Foot vs Nice Prediction: Will the visitors be able to pick up their first win of the season?

The team has changed a lot in the off-season, with at least one newcomer in almost every line-up. Defenders Mateusz Wieteska and Neto Borges joined their starting line-up, while Komnen Andrić became the main forward for Clermont after Mohamed Bayo's departure. The Serbian forward has already scored his first double in his new squad, and they beat Reims (4:2). Aaron Ramsey and Kasper Schmeichel have experience playing in the EPL and have already made their debut for Nice in the French league. Schmeichel has replaced the injured Marcin Bulka; against Clermont, the Polish goalkeeper can still take to the pitch.

The team dropped points to Strasbourg (1:1) in the last round of Ligue 1. Nice could have conceded 2-3 goals even at home. The Eagles scored the only goal of the game on penalties, but they did not have much success in attack, although they had 13 shots on goal. In the Conference League against Maccabi Tel Aviv, Nice looked a little better but still lost (0:1). In the first half, the Eagles created many chances. There were also plenty of defensive errors, and Nice could have conceded a second goal, so the encounter was tense.
