There are mixed opinions whether Luke Williams is the man for the job in taking Swansea to promotion as Swansea finds themselves in 12th position in the table. On the other hand, however, Williams continues to earn greater respect in his role as head coach, although the latter especially in this case, as Swansea boasts one of the best defensive records in the Championship. The team has conceded just six goals in eight games; the two losses were by the narrow margin of 1-0 each. Although Swansea need to improve their attacking game, Williams says they are scoring points in any which way. And the team is unbeaten at home this season, collecting eight points from twelve.

In fact, Steven Schumacher is the latest Stoke casualty of consecutive defeats against Hull City and Middlesbrough, but at least a win over Portsmouth for new boss Narcis Pelach has given them something to work on. Swansea City v Stoke City Betting Tips
Williams should make several alterations to Swansea's starting line-up as Zan Vipotnik may return to a place in attack. Allen hasn't played any game this term but one might catch up with him just before the Welshman departs for his national side. There may be a change in midfield wherein the rest remain the same but Goncalo Franco gets a start. If there are no fitness issues, Pelach may keep his Stoke XI on the pitch. However, Pelach may still sit Sam Gallagher out for the second game running in three days as that decision is yet to be arrived at. Jordan Thompson could be one such alternative pick. Stoke will find it difficult to repeat the six-goals they scored midweek, especially when those who scored will be accompanied by Pelach who still has to prove himself. Their attacking force is far better than Stoke's attacking.
