Since Luke Williams took the managerial spot back in January, Swansea has hopes of moving away from being one of the established clubs in the second tier. However, the performances of late haven't been there to prove them ready for the final pull into this stage. The only win in league came against battling Preston North End at home, and they were held by another top contender Cardiff City before succumbing 1-0 to both Wycombe Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion. Every single one of their three defeats this term have come by a margin of just one goal, so that indicates there is an issue at the other end.
Swansea has not scored in 260 minutes but they will look to right that tomorrow.
Swansea City Predicted XI
Vigouroux; Key, Cabango, Darling, Tymon; Franco, Grimes; Ronald, Cooper, Eom; Vipotnik
Norwich City form
Norwich, under the management of Johannes Hoff Thorup, won their first Championship victory of the season, beating Coventry City 1-0, just before the international break. Norwich were defeated 4-0 in the EFL Cup by Crystal Palace, but some creditable draws during that period at Carrow Road came against Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United.
Thorup will be looking forward to the extra time in the training pitches to help his players in the near future as they face Swansea, which has not been scoring well and cannot boast of proper targetmen in front.
It will be a match in which the victory is expected by Norwich since the two teams have not done so well in their past few matches.
Norwich City Predicted Team
Gunn; Stacey, Duffy, Doyle; Chrisene; Nunez, McLean; Schwartau, Slimane, Sainz; Crnac
Swansea City vs Norwich City Expert Picks
Williams must weigh up his options- whether to persist with forward Zan Vipotnik who is still bedding into the Championship. On-loan Cullen can play but has a knock on the ankle. Defender Florian Bianchini hopes for his first league start since joining from Bastia in the summer. Oscar Schwartau and Anis Ben Slimane both impress as substitutes against Coventry. Kaide Gordon may earn his team debut after arrival from Liverpool, while Josh Sargent's ankle problem is being assessed. Away clash: Norwich City is favourite to win after being in good shape lately, especially against Coventry. Swansea City has yet to lose at home though. Draw in a low-scoring affair.
