Since suffering four consecutive defeats in September, Southampton have been on a remarkable winning streak, as they have not lost in their last 15 matches (winning 10 and drawing 5). After drawing 1-1 with Watford and Coventry City earlier this month, Southampton has returned to winning form in their last two games. They secured a 4-0 home win against Blackburn Rovers and a 1-0 victory against Queens Park Rangers, bringing them within seven points of Ipswich Town, who currently sit in second place. With their recent success in West London, Southampton will now return to St Mary's, where they have won their last five home games and kept clean sheets in the last three matches. Manager Martin will be hoping his team can maintain their impressive home form as they face Swansea, a club where he previously managed for two years before taking over at Southampton in the summer.

Swansea City form
With Swansea still in search of a permanent head coach, current caretaker manager Alan Sheehan is getting ready to oversee his fifth game after the departure of Michael Duff earlier this month. Under Duff's management, Swansea failed to win any of their last five matches. However, Sheehan has managed to turn things around, with the team winning two out of their four games under his guidance, drawing one and losing one. Sheehan's tenure began with a victory over Rotherham United, followed by a draw with Stoke City and a loss to Middlesbrough. After a few disappointing results, Swansea bounced back with a win against Preston North End on Friday, thanks to Jamie Paterson's two goals, including a last-minute winner. This victory marked their first home win since October 4. Following their 2-1 success, Swansea will now play their final two matches of the year away from home. Their first stop is on the South Coast, where they will try to secure their first away win against Southampton since February 2015. In their last three visits to St Mary's, Swansea have drawn one and lost two matches.

Southampton vs Swansea City Expert Tips
Although we acknowledge Swansea's successful weekend, we believe they may not be able to match the quality of their promotion-seeking opponents. Consequently, the hosts are expected to secure a fifth consecutive home victory, surpassing the visitors.
