Following a strong performance after the World Cup break, Sheffield United had a 10-match unbeaten run in the league, including eight wins, securing a spot in the top two and their bid for automatic promotion to the Premier League. However, the past few weeks have proven to be challenging for the team. Their impressive run was stopped by a 3-1 defeat at home to Middlesbrough, cutting the gap between them and third-placed Boro to seven points. Unfortunately, they were unable to recover in their next match, falling to a 3-2 loss away at Millwall, reducing their lead even further. Although they did rebuild confidence with a 1-0 triumph at home to Watford and booking a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a win over Tottenham Hotspur, they were unable to continue their winning streak against Blackburn Rovers, losing 1-0. Despite this setback, they managed to win their game in hand against Reading, with Iliman Ndiaye scoring the only goal of the game. Sheffield United is now level on games with their competitors for promotion and has a seven-point lead, making it crucial for them to secure more wins to solidify their claim for promotion to the top flight.
Sheffield United’s possible starting lineup

Luton Town’s Form
Luton Town, managed by Rob Edwards, will face a difficult challenge as they seek to maintain their position in the top six and climb to the Premier League. Despite a strong run of form in December and January, which included six wins in seven games and put them in a favourable position with 48 points from 29 games, Luton has faced some setbacks. After settling for back-to-back 1-1 draws and suffering a 1-0 defeat against Burnley, they quickly bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Birmingham City and a 2-2 draw with Millwall. Luton's latest 1-0 win against Swansea City has kept them ahead of the pack, with Norwich City and Millwall trailing by two and three points, respectively. However, Luton cannot afford to let their guard down as they face a challenging match on Saturday.
Luton Town’s predicted lineup
Adebayo, Morris, Clark, Doughty, Campbell, Nakamba, Drameh, Bell, Lockyer, Osho and Horvath
