QPR has had a mixed start to their Championship season, winning two matches but losing four, leaving them in 20th place with a total of six points. Gareth Ainsworth's team suffered a 4-0 defeat against Watford in their opening match but rebounded with a 2-1 victory against Cardiff in their second game. Unfortunately, they have since experienced three defeats in their last four league matches, including a 3-1 loss to Sunderland at home. Despite taking an early lead through Kenneth Paal, QPR was unable to hold on, allowing Sunderland to score three consecutive goals. Last season, QPR finished in the same 20th position in the Championship, and it seems that this upcoming season may also be challenging. However, their wins against Cardiff and Middlesbrough indicate their ability to perform well away from home.
Queens Park Rangers Predicted Lineup
Begovic; Kakay, Cook, Fox; Smyth, Field, Willock, Paal; Dozzell, Dykes, Chair
Swansea City form
Swansea experienced a significant letdown in the South Wales derby on Saturday, as Cardiff managed to score two goals in the later stages of the match, earning all three points at the Cardiff City Stadium. Unfortunately, this defeat adds to a streak of four consecutive losses for Michael Duff's team, including their last three matches in the Championship against Preston North End, Bristol City, and Cardiff. Currently, the Swans find themselves in 22nd place in the standings, having only amassed one point from their first six games. This is not the start the club had envisioned. Last season, Swansea finished in 10th position in the Championship, narrowly missing out on the playoffs by just three points. However, their current form suggests that they are far from a team capable of contending for promotion. In the previous season, the Welsh side managed to secure four points in their two league encounters with QPR. They triumphed with a 1-0 victory at home and then settled for a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road in January.
Swansea City Predicted Lineup
Rushworth; Darling, Wood-Gordon, Pedersen; Key, Grimes, Fulton, Patino, Tymon; Paterson, Ginnelly
Queens Park Rangers vs Swansea City Expert Tips
QPR has not managed to defeat Swansea at home in any competition since January 2020. Their last victory in the league at Loftus Road was in April 2019. Although the outcome of this match is uncertain, we believe that QPR has the ability to secure a crucial three points. Double chance on QPR will be a way to go.
