After their return from the international break in November, Queens Park Rangers have managed a run of three unbeaten matches in the Championship following their 2-0 defeat at Leeds United's Elland Road. They won four points from their recent away matches, including the one against Cardiff City that saw Zan Celar net two goals. Goalkeeper Paul Nardi has picked two successive clean sheets, helping the team to end November on a draw against Watford.
QPR, who are currently sitting in 23rd place in the Championship table, face a tight schedule in their battle to survive the second tier. They trail Plymouth Argyle by two points and are looking to climb to safety. The team has struggled to get wins at home, failing to win in nine matches at Loftus Road this season.
With only 15 goals scored in 18 Championship games so far, Queens Park Rangers are facing a significant goal-scoring problem. Players like Celar and Frey have been unable to fill the void left by Dykes, who departed for Birmingham City in the summer. This lack of firepower could pose a threat to their hopes of avoiding relegation to the third tier next season.
Queens Park Rangers Predicted Lineup
Nardi; Dunne, Cook, Morrison, Paal; Varane, Madsen, Smyth, Andersen, Saito; Celar
Norwich City form
Norwich City go to Loftus Road this weekend on a high. The Canaries have remained unbeaten in the last three games since the international break. They drew at West Bromwich Albion and won at Carrow Road over Plymouth and Luton in the last fortnight. The team has been very solid of late and more especially since the entry into the campaign of a well-injected Borja Sainz who boasts some very fine Championship football going by 15 Championship this season which surpasses all of last season.
At Norwich, success for that reason comes without entering top six places of Championship still remaining on fifth spots outside playoffs at five points. They have been dominant at home but still need to improve their away record if they are to be promoted to the Premier League. Their last win was on September 28, Derby County, and will be looking to continue this good form at Loftus Road against their opponents.
Norwich City Predicted Lineup
Gunn; Stacey, Duffy, Doyle, Fisher; Ben Slimane, McLean, Marcondes; Amankwah, Sainz, Crnac
