Losing 1-0 against Coventry City in the closing minutes was unfortunate for Tomasson and his team, but it is concerning that Blackburn has only won four of their last 19 Championship matches. Despite hopes of another promotion challenge, the possibility of being in the relegation zone after the upcoming weekend looms over the team during the international break.

As a result of Adam Wharton's groin issue, Sondre Tronstad might feature in the Blackburn midfield, possibly alongside Lewis Travis, who was placed on the substitutes' bench in the previous match against Coventry.
