Leicester City had a disappointing first half against Birmingham in the FA Cup, but changes made by Enzo Maresca during halftime turned the game in their favor. The introductions of Ricardo Pereira and James Justin provided stability, and goals from Jamie Vardy, Yunus Akgun, and Denis Praet secured their spot in the next round. Leicester is currently on a two-game winless streak in the Championship, but they still remain at the top of the league standings. With Wilfred Ndidi injured, Maresca is interested in signing Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan. Stephy Mavididi has been a standout player for Leicester, causing problems for opposing defenses with his runs and scoring contributions.
Leicester City Predicted Lineup
Hermansen; Justin, Vestergaard, Faes, Pereira; Winks, Choudhury, Dewsbury-Hall; Mavididi, McAteer, Cannon
Swansea City form
Swansea fans will be tired of seeing the South Coast after suffering 5-0 defeats to both Southampton and Bournemouth in the past month. In the FA Cup fourth round, Swansea fell victim to an impressive performance by Bournemouth. The damage was done in the first half, with Lloyd Kelly, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra, David Brooks and Dominic Solanke all scoring against goalkeeper Andrew Fisher, who didn't make a single save throughout the 90 minutes. Since taking over from Michael Duff in December, Swansea manager Luke Williams has had a mixed start, with a win against Morecambe in the FA Cup but only one point from matches against Birmingham City and Russell Martin's Saints in the Championship. Swansea currently sit in 16th place in the standings, 10 points behind sixth-placed Coventry City, making it unlikely for them to secure a playoff spot in the final months of the season. In their last eight league matches, Swansea have only won two.
Swansea City Predicted Lineup
Rushworth; Darling, Wood, Humphreys, Tymon; Ashby, Grimes, Fulton; Paterson, Cullen, Yates
Leicester City vs Swansea City Expert Tips
Leicester City had the opportunity to give some of their key players a break during the FA Cup victory against Birmingham. This should leave the team energized and ready to dominate Swansea at their home stadium, King Power. Swansea has been performing poorly during their recent away matches against Southampton and Bournemouth. Considering that Leicester is leading the Championship by a wide margin, it is expected to be another challenging match for the Welsh team.
