Heading into extra time at The Hawthorns a week ago, Leicester City, the league leaders, seemed destined for another disappointing result with only one win in their last five matches. West Brom's Josh Maja scored a messy 89th-minute goal to equalize after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's opener. However, it was Leicester who had the last laugh when they capitalized on West Brom's defensive lapses. Dewsbury-Hall provided the assist, allowing Harry Winks to score an easy tap-in and secure a victory for Leicester, much to the delight of their fans.
The importance of this win was further heightened by victories for Ipswich Town, Leeds United, and Southampton, as it ensured that Leicester maintained their eight-point lead over Leeds in third place after 19 games in the second-tier campaign. After earning four points in their recent away games at Hillsborough and The Hawthorns, Enzo Maresca's side will now return to the King Power stadium, where they haven't played since their 2-0 victory over Watford on November 25. In that game, Jamie Vardy's late brace saved Leicester from a lackluster performance.
The Foxes now have four upcoming matches against teams ranked 15th or lower in the table, before facing a highly anticipated match against second-placed Ipswich on December 23. Leicester fans will be hoping for maximum points from these games in order to maintain their strong position before the trip to Portman Road.
Leicester City Predicted Lineup
Hermansen; Choudhury, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin; Ndidi, Winks, Dewsbury-Hall; Fatawu, Mavididi, Vardy
Plymouth Argyle form
Midfielder Adam Randell, playing in his hometown club's 100th game, became the hero at Home Park in the previous match as he scored a winning goal in the 97th minute against Stoke. This victory extended Plymouth Argyle's unbeaten home run to four matches. Initially, the team faced the possibility of losing their fourth home game of the season when Tyrese Campbell scored for Stoke in the first half. However, an equalizer from Mustapha Bundu gave Randell, who grew up in the local area, the opportunity to secure three points for the hosts. At present, Plymouth occupies the 16th position in the second-tier table, having earned 22 points from their first 19 matches. Although there have been rumors linking Plymouth manager Steven Schumacher to the managerial role at Sunderland, he asserts that he is in the perfect place to continue his coaching development. One major reason Plymouth has not been able to challenge for a top-six position is their poor away record, having failed to win any of their nine league matches on the road. They have only collected three points away from Home Park this season. Since joining Plymouth from Swansea City earlier this year, Morgan Whittaker has scored eight goals in 19 Championship appearances, which puts him just one goal away from equaling his tally in the previous season's League One games.
Plymouth Argyle Predicted Lineup
Cooper; Kesler-Hayden, Scarr, Gibson, Miller; Houghton, Cundle, Azaz; Mumba, Whittaker, Hardie

Leicester City will be pleased to return to the King Power Stadium after encountering two challenging matches in the Championship. The local supporters anticipate both a victorious outcome and a commanding performance from the team currently leading the league. Plymouth is among the three teams in the Championship that have not achieved a single victory away from their home ground this season.
