Mark Robins cannot have been too pleased with the way they began their season, which took just five points from five matches, though hardly any worse that they might have been. Two of those losses were by a solitary stroke. More than that is that Coventry has lost precious little in attack going forward when to date they have conceded over once this term in just one match-3-2 to Brentford-and four more than they have scored in five matches in all competitions. A draw on return from international break with Watford should be taken as a good outcome; further tests, however, stand in the form of Robins' performance in lifting his team out of the disappointment they have been serving following the EFL Cup third-round defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Swansea City Form
Swansea is one team that Luke Williams would have expected much more from his side. Particularly coming off this three-game winless spell, they were in danger of not recovering quickly. But the team has now easily won a 1-0 match over Norwich City, so it is now boosted up to 11th position in the table, and it holds one of the best defensive records of the division. Swansea have only conceded more than one goal in two of their seven games, including all competitions, into the 2024-25 season, conceding three goals in five matches. On the other hand, they have scored just two goals in their last four matches, both being scored within the first ten minutes of two different matches, one being an own goal.
Swansea City Predicted Starting XI

Coventry City vs Swansea City Best Predictions
After shaking things up midweek, Robins may look to revert to a similar Coventry XI that started the draw with Watford, although Haji Wright and Brandon Thomas-Asante battle for a place in the final third. Ephron Mason-Clark's place under threat. Meanwhile, Williams is unlikely to deviate from the same Swansea eleven unless his players pick up injuries. Josh Tymon looks likely to replace Kyle Naughton at left-back, while Liam Cullen should lead the attack ahead of Zan Vipotnik.
Both teams' nature is so unpredictable that, though this match can be anyone's, it could likely be a close game with one goal separating two teams. Having lost two games in succession, we expect Coventry to win back their much-needed victory.
