Burnley is looking to get back to the Premier League in a hurry, having been relegated last season under Vincent Kompany. Scott Parker took over during the summer and has worked magic in transforming Burnley into a resilient team that has only lost two out of 21 games in the second tier (W11, D8). Success comes from their defense as they have only allowed eight goals this season, which is the fewest in the league. In their latest away victory against Norwich City, Zian Flemming and Josh Brownhill each found the back of the net to stretch their undefeated streak to eight games. Burnley is now a single point shy of the Leeds United team sitting in second position. Though they remain undefeated at home this campaign, Burnley has already seen five draws in their 10 matches at Turf Moor. They hope to maintain the momentum with the match against Watford.
Watford form
With two successive seasons having ended in 11th and 15th positions, Watford aims for a promotion place this term and thus has the target of regaining promotion back to the top flight after missing it last season, first since 2021-22. The team, led by Tom Cleverley at present, is winning its three matches and drawing other three out of six which came after the 1-0 loss against Swansea City on November 5. It started with win against Oxford United at the home and Bristol City after Plymouth Argyle draw all these results before the latter part where it draws out with QPR and then with Watford. Cleverley was a happy man after his side bounced back from the home defeat with a 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion; Vakoun Issouf Bayo scoring twice against them. Watford remains undefeated at Vicarage Road this season, winning eight and drawing two of their 10 home league games, which makes them currently third best for home performances in the second tier. Despite currently sitting outside the top six on goal difference, Watford hopes to play better on the road by winning just two of 10 away Championship matches, with two draws and a string of six losses so far. The team faces tough times as they haven't won any of their past three games against Burnley since a 3-1 victory in August of 2018.

Burnley vs Watford Expert Betting Tips
Even though they have not lost a game at Turf Moor so far this season, Burnley has won only five of their 10 league games at home. Since they are a promotion contender, we feel that on the day they play against Watford, who is on a six-game unbeaten run, they would be satisfied to get a draw.
