Junior FC emerged as the winner of a five goal thriller at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Melendez against Deportivo Cali. Junior FC opened the scoring just four minutes into the game with a goal from Jose Enamorado who hit a right footed shot into the roof of the net thanks to an assist from Driver Caicedo. Deportivo Cali responded about 15 minutes later through Fabry Castro before Deportivo Cali defender Jhildrey Lasso turned the ball into his own net in the 31st minute to restore Junior FC's lead. Deportivo Cali received four yellow cards in the first half. Gustavo Ramirez brought the game level in the 48th minute thanks to an assist from Jhon Vasquez until Carlos Bacca converted a big chance for Junior FC by shooting from very close range into the bottom left corner in the 64th minute to restore Junior FC's lead. Junior FC received a red card in the 80th minute but Deportivo Cali didn't take advantage of it to bring the game level. Junior FC has one win, two draws and two losses in their last five matches, scoring five goals and conceding six.
