Gaadiidka FC vs APR Prediction: Rwanda giant will get it right this time

On Thursday, the most successful team in the Rwanda Premier League will square off against Somalia champions Gaadiidka at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo Stadium. The supposed home team will play the game in Rwanda after CAF disapproved their request to play in Somalia, thereby allowing APR to rewrite their wrong.

The Somalia-based team defied all odds when they shared the spoils against APR in Kigali last week. Gaadiidka FC struck first when Mohammed Farah got the first goal in the 34th; however, after serious pressure from the host, they leveled after the break as it ended in a (1-1) draw. 

Somalia league winners Gaadiidka FC head here for the first time in their history. Gaadiidka FC finished at the top of the log with two points above Heegan United in second spot. 

Gaadiidka FC will play the return leg in Rwanda, and only the (0-0) score line would save them here.  

APR FC (Rwanda)

The visitors were lucky to have come off with a point after underrating their opponents. They’re presented with another opportunity to rewrite their mistakes, and we expect them to triumph. 

The home side are a regular team in this competition; however, they have not passed the second round. The Rwanda National League winner secured the title last season after picking up sixty-three points in thirty games, the same point as the runner-up.

APR have successfully participated in this competition and head here for the second season in a row. US Monastir knocked them out on a (3-1) aggregate after a terrible second-leg defeat in Tunisia.

Expert Betting Tips

APR are a regular team in this competition but are yet to play a group game. They were sadly knocked out in the preliminary round last season by US Monastir. APR were below average in their opening game, creating fewer chances against Gaadiidka FC. They have the advantage as Gaadiidka FC will remain in Kigali for the encounter. We expect the home team to get it right this time and get more than a goal.

APR of Rwanda have enough arsenal to overwhelm Gaadiidka FC, and we expect them to win before the break for 1.90.
