Cruzeiro vs Internacional
Stadium: Mineirão
05.11.2023, 22:00
Only two points separate Cruzeiro and Internacional, the 16th and 13th-placed teams, respectively, two teams that are not at ease as they are close to the relegation zone. Cruzeiro has 37 points and one game in hand, while Vasco da Gama is just below, in the relegation position, pressing on with 34 points. Inter, on 39 points, after two bad results at home to the last two placed teams in the Brasileirão, heads to the Mineirão needing to pick up at least one point to avoid worsening its position in the table.

The Fox lost 1-0 at the Morumbi, conceding a goal in the 84th minute when playing with ten players after Anderson's dismissal in the 56th minute. It was a bitter result for the Mineiros, who missed several chances to open the scoring. In Round 30, Cruzeiro finally managed to win at the Mineirão for the first time in the league, beating Bahia 3-0, so blockage affecting the team is no longer there. The team has improved its performance recently, and so, despite the worrying position in the table, a good game is expected from the Mineiros.
Internacional
After two excellent wins, one 7-1 at home to Santos and the other 2-1 at Vasco da Gama, Inter's situation has become more complicated. With two home games in a row against the bottom two teams in the Série A, the Colorado side failed miserably and only managed one point. A 4-3 defeat to Coritiba, in a game marked by Vitão's sending off in the ninth minute, unsettled the team, which was held to a draw by América in the following match. Internacional's last four games reflect the unpredictability of the Brasileirão, where anything can happen. A defeat at the Mineirão would be terrible for the Gaúchos.
Expert Betting Tips
This game will likely be balanced, and a draw would probably please both teams. Cruzeiro struggles at home, as it plays a defensive style, but on the other hand, Inter doesn't traditionally have a good away record playing against the Mineiros. I'm going for a draw, as I don't see any team above the other, at least at this stage of the season.
