Cruzeiro vs Fortaleza Prediction: Expect an exciting game between two quality teams

Cruzeiro and Fortaleza will meet in Cariacica to close out Round 21 of the Brasileirão. Cruzeiro is in fifth place with 35 points, and Fortaleza is one place higher with one more point. Both teams have had a fantastic first half of the season, so this match is eagerly awaited.

Fortaleza

The Lion beat São Paulo at home 1-0, extending its unbeaten run to six games. The match's only goal was scored in the 4th minute by Kayzer from the penalty spot. The Paulistas never managed to break through Fortaleza's solid defense, and only Luiz Gustavo's shot from outside the box hitting the post caused any real danger. The Cearenses are in a position to reach the Copa Libertadores and will be looking to defend fourth place against Cruzeiro. In the case of defeat, Fortaleza will drop from the G4.
