Stadium: Mineirão

Two wins in the last two home games haven't lifted Atlético out of last place in the Brasileirão, but the Goianos can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. In its upcoming game, the Dragon will travel to Belo Horizonte to face Cruzeiro with the victory in mind.

The Miners are losing steam and haven't won in five league games. Cruzeiro has played two successive games against Internacional, one of them a postponed match from Round 5, and hasn't scored a goal. The 1-0 defeat in Porto Alegre at the weekend comes as no surprise, but the 0-0 draw in the last game was disappointing. Inter played an hour with ten players after Rogel received a red card in the 32nd minute, and yet Cruzeiro, playing at home, failed to score a goal. The Miners even missed a penalty 20 minutes before the end of the game through Kaio Jorge. The Fox is in seventh place with 38 points and missed the opportunity to overtake Bahia, who has one more point.
Atlético Goianiense
The Goiânia team, who had yet to win a home game in the league, beat Internacional and Juventude in two consecutive rounds at the Antônio Accioly and renewed its hope of escaping relegation. In the most recent fixture, Atlético defeated Juventude 2-1, with the winning goal coming in the last minute of the added time through a penalty from Alejo Cruz. The Goianos occupy the 20th and last place with 18 points, six less than Fluminense, the first team out of the Z4. With the competition entering its final third, Atlético needs to secure points because, at this stage, any defeat brings the club closer to the Série B.
Expert Betting Tips
Cruzeiro hasn't won for the last five games in the Série A, and despite seventh place in the standings, the fans are disappointed with the team. If the Miners fail to beat Atlético Goianiense, the pressure on coach Seabra could increase. The visitors are motivated after two wins but are still in last place. Atlético needs victories to get out of the relegation zone, but a point in Belo Horizonte wouldn't be a bad result. I'm betting on a match with a maximum of two goals scored, as the Goianos have improved defensively.
