Max Verstappen made it to the top of the podium once again this weekend, cementing his place in the driver's rankings. The Dutch pilot is number one in the table with no rivals. He currently has 310 points on his account, 109 more than second-placed Sergio Perez and third-placed Charles Leclerc.
Max Verstappen will not only get himself a win this season but also Red Bull, respectively. The Bulls are in first place in the constructors' cup with 511 points under their belt. Second place goes to Ferrari (376), with Mercedes in third (346).
Max Verstappen's winning streak in qualifying was interrupted. Thus, Charles Leclerc won the pole position on Saturday, overtaking the second Max Verstappen by 0.145s. Carlos Sainz was third, and Sergio Perez fourth.
Pole is great, although qualifying was not easy, I knew that our car could be capable of great speed. I knew I had to put everything together in the final attempt in the final session, and I succeeded. I am very happy with the lap I have done and happy with the result. So far this weekend, everything is going great, the car is making a great impression, and I really hope that tomorrow we can perform as well as in 2019. But to win the pole, I had to take more risks because I knew I had to win back quite a lot in the last attempt. I decided to take the risk, and it worked out for me!
I was close to Charles, but we decided to set the car up for more downforce. It might not be the best solution for one fast lap, but we will be quite strong over the race distance, although I am starting a few positions lower because of the penalty. Overall, I'm happy with my lap and how the weekend is going. We are in for an interesting fight tomorrow. It's important to stay out of trouble at the start and then break through to the top.

Max Verstappen is approaching the upcoming weekend as the favorite, which is partly true, but this time we will favor Charles Leclerc. Yes, the Dutch driver finished second in qualifying, but due to a penalty in the race will only start seventh, while the Monegasque is first. It also can't be overlooked that Leclerc will compete on his home track, where the support of the Ferrari team fans will be felt. All in all, we think Leclerc will cross the chequered flag first.
