MOUZ had no problem winning their first match in ESL Pro League Season 19, Bad News Kangoroos couldn't create any competition. MOUZ must win their next match to guarantee a playoff spot in the tournament. Recently, however, making the playoffs has not been a problem for the team.

The reliance on academy players has worked completely - all players, except Brollan, have been through MOUZ school at all levels. The renewed squad started a string of top performances at ESL Pro League Season 18, where they took first place, and in CS2, they consistently reached the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and sometimes even the grand finals. Jimmphat took full star status after the departure of frozen and is also helped by Brollan riffler rented from Ninjas in Pyjamas. MOUZ is a systematic team where results are made through discipline, and the good form of the players makes the mice's strategies more dangerous. MOUZ is consistently ranked in the top 5 of the HLTV World Rankings in 2024 and is currently in the top 3.

It's just a shame that playoff appearances are accompanied by bitter defeats for the Jimmphat squad. It's a funny statistic - MOUZ had eight playoff appearances in CS2, but the team won only three of them. In the new Counter-Strike series they consistently lose to FaZe and most often meet it in the elimination matches. But now we are talking about Group C, and MOUZ usually finishes the group stages in the first place.

The team also played the first series with the updated roster and won convincingly over ENCE. Now, the Snax team needs to pull off a miracle and beat MOUZ to finally make the playoffs of a major tournament. 

Right before ESL Pro League Season 19, the team changed two old players - acoR and Keoz. The replacements were necessary because both players were not always stable, and young and talented guys from the academy were asked to take their place. And judging by the first match, they are ready to take the initiative and lead GamerLegion to new heights. They managed to get sl3nd out of Endpoint, and the Hungarian shot +20 against ENCE, while sniper aNdu was the key to success at Ancient. Rotations in the lineup allowed volt to play in more interesting positions, and Snax read the map very well, as if he wasn't old at all.

Their problems have been the lack of a star player who will consistently rack up great stats any day of the week. Maybe the newcomers can make up for the missing components in the GamerLegion system, but they need time to adapt to the tier-1 level. So far, there's a win against ENCE - it seems good, but it's only a small fraction of progress.
