Day 2 of Week 5 of the NLC 2022 Summer Tournament will take place on Wednesday, June 29. This matchup will pit MNM Gaming and Dusty against each other.
NLC 2022 Summer is the fifth season of the rebranded Northern Europe League since the merger of UKLC and the Northern Europe Championship. In this league, the best teams in Northern Europe battle for the right to play at the European Masters (EU Masters) 2022 Summer. This split takes place from May 30 to July 28.

This season has started out more or less well for the team. One win and one loss came from Dusty and X7G Gaming. But the win was quickly forgotten after two losses from Vanir and Riddle Gaming in the second week. In week three, the result repeated itself. Astralis Talent was not given a chance, but NYYRIKKI had a good match, but still no result. Week 4 started with a match against third place in the rankings. Bifrost beat MNM very easily and left them in 9th place with 5 losses in a row. The last match was against the tournament outsiders, Team Singularity, which Marshmalows & Molotows were able to win. The match against JD|XL was predictable. MNM could not oppose anything and completely failed in the game. In the last match of the week, the guys will meet with Dusty, who at the moment is confidently in the center of the overall standings.
MNM Gaming is a British eSports organization founded by brothers Calvin "KalKal" Chang and Daniel "Javelin" Chang in late 2013. The organization officially launched on January 1, 2014. The team began its journey with Epic. TWELVE where showed an average result. At the Insomnia58 Spring tournament in 2016, the team took first place for the first time. 2017 was a very successful year for MNM. The team showed excellent results and took prizes at the ESL Premiership and UK Masters. After hitting the NLC, the team didn't stand out with much performance but managed to take first place in UKLC 2021.
The last split for Marshmalows & Molotows came out as bad as the beginning of this one. The team only won four maps throughout the tournament. The first week did not yield any points. In the second, however, the squad showed great results, beating Astralis Talent and Riddle Esports. The team's last two wins came at the end of week three and the beginning of week four. For the rest of the five weeks, the team failed with nothing to show for it, ending the tournament in 9th place with a score of 4-14.
Dusty: It's pretty good
This split started out pretty well for Dusty. Thye got three wins in a row, against MNM Gaming and NYYRIKKI, in week one and X7 Esports in week two. Also, in week two, the team suffered an expected loss to Bifrost. Week three is going great - two easy wins against Vanir and Team Singularity. In the fourth week, the team got the tournament favorites, Riddle Esports and JD|XL, who did not even give a chance to win. The team started week 5 with a surprise win over Astralis Talent. At the end of the week, Dusty will face MNM Gaming, who are currently at the bottom of the overall standings.
Dusty is a young team from Iceland, which was created in March 2019 They started their journey in the Icelandic Esports league, where they took second place in the first season and first place in the second. Next, the team gets to the Nordic Championship, where at first, the Icelanders do not succeed. With time the guys managed to drag themselves into 3rd-4th place, and from there, they got into the NLC.
The last season wasn't too bad for Dusty. Despite three losses in a row in Week 1 and Week 2. The lineup recovered a bit, winning two games and then catching a string of 4 very important wins in a row after losing to JDXL. They were able to make the playoffs from fourth place but could only make it to third place, losing to Bifrost in the semifinals.
