G2 Esports vs MOUZ Prediction: There is no need to write MOUZ off

G2 Esports was unable to make the trip to Dallas with a full roster. HooXi misses the tournament for personal reasons, and he is replaced by the titled Stewie2K. The American hasn't played at the Tier-1 level in a while, but if you look at HooXi's previous stats, he won't ruin anything. The problem is different: no matter how much they criticise HooXi for the failed matches, he really did carry some of the pieces sometimes. Can Stewie2K be relied on like that? Hardly, because in the first match he made a lot of mistakes and unforced dies. That's fine specifically for his performance, but bad for G2 Esports.

In the match against MOUZ, they need to mobilise all the strength they have. Firstly, it's an elimination match from IEM Dallas 2024, Secondly, they upset NiKo team twice in a row, and it's time to get even with them. But m0NESY will not be enough to win, that's for sure.

MOUZ

Just a week ago MOUZ secured their second title in a row, and now they are in danger of dropping out of IEM Dallas 2024 so early. No one expected the mice to lose to 9Z, and the match with Complexity could have been the team's last.

A combination of factors prevents MOUZ from playing as well as before. Firstly, siuhy and teammates have recently finished in the top 1 of HLTV and won trophies, so they get special attention from all opponents. Secondly, they take all the invites and play a lot of tournaments, and fatigue could have accumulated. After ESL Pro League Season 19, the team flew to Belgrade in two days and battled on Dacha without losing quality. But it was not possible to bring all the skill to Dallas, and therefore the first game day turned out to be fatal. Brollan and torzsi were able to show a good performance, while xertioN, Jimmphat and siuhy's shooting in America leaves much to be desired.

There is no need to write MOUZ off. The schedule is very tight and the strength is running out, but the team is on the move. Anything could have happened on the first game day, and acclimatisation could have had an impact. But the Mice have a comfortable opponent in the lower net, and they know how to neutralise m0NESY on the server. MOUZ has always made the playoffs on the top grid in the groups, now it's time to go to the bottom grid.
