October 7 marks the start of The International 10, the tournament that the entire eSports community has been waiting for two years. Of course, this celebration is somewhat overshadowed by the fact that the competition will take place without spectators, whose presence was banned at the very last moment. Nevertheless, the highest level of Dota will flood us very soon, and we will only have to enjoy the long-awaited The International.
On October 9, Team Spirit and Fnatic will play their next match in the group stage of The International 10. Which team will be stronger and earn the most important points?
Team Spirit: They had a good second day
Team Spirit had an unsuccessful first game day at The International and didn’t earn any points. However, such a result is quite understandable. At the start of the tournament, they got one of the main favourites of their group (Team Secret and PSG.LGD). However, on the second day, the Dragons surprised everyone and beat Elephant, which gave them some crucial points. The final match of the second game day for Team Spirit will be a clash with Vici Gaming, and after that, they will have no world-class rivals. With all of the remaining teams, Team Spirit can and even should pick up points. The meeting with Fnatic will be no exception. Not long ago, the Dragons already beat the team from Southeast Asia quite confidently.
Fnatic: They are playing to their strengths
If you look at their points after four matches, Fnatic are still playing to their strengths in the tournament. The team was only able to earn two points and sits in sixth place in Group B. As for the results, there were surprises. After two good matches against Chinese teams, where the team did not lose a single game, Fnatic unexpectedly lost to SG. Raven has a great tournament and is the only player who is hard to pick on the Fnatic roster. This guy tries to get the most out of what he has, but the rest of the team doesn’t always help. If Fnatic didn’t lose to the Chinese giants, they are entitled to expect some points against the Dragons, although it’s clear that the team from Southeast Asia will play to win.
Expert Betting Tips
Team Spirit managed to get their first points on the second day, but we can’t say that the Dragons can beat any team without any problems. Yes, now it should be easier for them, they have already played with their strongest rivals, but something tells me that they will not win in the match against Fnatic. However, Team Spirit should gain points in any case.
The bookmakers are offering odds of 2.19 for a draw, which looks like a good option.
