Group Stage
Team SoloMid FTX vs Tundra Esports
Format: BO2
15.10.2022, 11:00
The International 11 will take place in Singapore from 15-30 October. At the biggest eSports tournament of the year, twenty teams will battle for the right to raise Aegis over their heads. The teams have been going all year long for this event, participating in regional DPC leagues and majors, so only the strongest representatives from their respective locations are coming to Singapore. But only one team would make their dream come true and write their names in the history of The International tournaments.
Team SoloMid FTX and Tundra Esports will meet in the middle of the group stage. Will any of the teams be able to snag two valuable points? Or will the teams go their separate ways?

The popular American organization has not gone wrong in choosing a roster to enter the new discipline. The line-up consisting of Timado, Bryle, SabeRLight-, MoonMeander, and DuBu earned $370,000 for 2022. Unexpectedly for many, the team clinched the North American top-1 title, eclipsing the region's long-time and uncontested leader, Evil Geniuses.
Team SoloMid FTX even played in the Stockholm Majors final, losing to OG in a hard-fought battle. However, the team players did not participate under their own banner at the second major. The organization did not make it to the home tournament, and the cyber athletes played as substitutes for Entity Gaming and Fnatic. And while the latter failed to make the top 8, SabeRLight- played on the carry with Fishman and set the tone for a new meta with three seven-core players. It looked spectacular and effective.
For 2022, Team SoloMid FTX made other opponents respect themselves. This team is not afraid to play against the top teams and is confident in their play against the underdogs. Timado is getting better each year at the curry position, MoonMeander skillfully exploits the players' strengths and invents not-quite-standard drafts. SabeRLight- from the offlane reached the top 1 leaderboard in Europe and in Arlington, reminded why he should be seen as a future Dota 2 star.
And even though things got a little worse over the summer and Team SoloMid FTX didn't make it into the top 6 at international tournaments, they will be up to speed for The International. And in this encounter, they should pick up at least one map.
Tundra Esports - in what mood did 33 arrive?
The opponent for the American team will be the team everyone fell in love with last year. Tundra Esports almost qualified for TI10 and deservedly listed as favorites throughout this year's DPC season. The team made it through to TI11, but their performance became more dubious with each new meeting.
Analysts have said that Tundra Esports wins are forged through performances from 33. Neta has established himself as a meth legislator on the offlane and has an extensive character pool. He doesn't see the obvious mistakes from skiter in his background, and it's easier to bring his experiments to life with Nine. Saksa and Sneyking only have to give their bark a comfortable laning and wait for them to break their opponents' throne.
The only trouble is that 33 broke sharply in August and the other players failed to perform qualitatively better. The team's results went down as dramatically as the offlaner's hands. Third place in Stockholm was followed by 7-8 in Dubai and 15-16 in the majors in Arlington. And if the team's problems could not be fixed in two months, the Tundra Esports star would go out as quickly as it lit up a year ago. And in this series, the team is no favorite.
Expert Betting Tips
Both teams performed well in the spring and slightly worse in the summer. In terms of their results in face-to-face meetings and international tournaments, the teams are at parity. Equality will be here as well, with neither team winning. The odds for this are 2.00.
Nevertheless, we will see a tier-1 draw here, which means Roshan won't be idle. I would guess that Over 2.5 Roshan will be killed on the first map. The odds on this outcome are 2.35.
Still, TeamSoloMidFTX is slightly superior to its opponent in terms of kills. On the first map, the American team will make 20 frags faster than the European team. The odds on this outcome are 1.83.
