Team Secret vs Polaris Esports Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │9 OCTOBER, 2022

The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier is a qualifying tournament for The International 2022, the upcoming main event of the year in the cybersports discipline Dota 2. Twelve teams worldwide will compete for two slots in the main tournament. Last Chance Qualifier, like the entire tournament, The International 2022 takes place in LAN format in Singapore. Dota 2 fans need to be patient and get ready for the action.

On October 9, Team Secret and Polaris Esports will play their opening match in The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier. We'll find out which team will be stronger soon.

Both European teams in the Last Chance Qualifier are contenders for a place in the main event, and if the game of Team Liquid is more skeptical, Team Secret was expected to play more confidently on the first game day. The squad of the legendary Puppey has already played three games and has not lost a series, although they have only one victory. The Europeans parted peacefully with Vici Gaming and nouns. Drawing with the Chinese VG was not so bad, although that Chinese squad generally is not shuffled to the TI11 contenders. They stumbled on one card with nouns - it's already a wake-up call that it's time to wake up. Team Secret defeated Tempest on the first game day, but who haven't those Peruvians lost to yet?

The 2021/22 DPC cycle for Team Secret was highly problematic. Puppey finished outside the European majors in all three regional leagues and made it to Singapore only under regional qualification. They finished second after losing to Entity (0-3) in the final.

For a long time, Clement tolerated his team's failures in the regional leagues, but still began to reshuffle the team in May. In May, Team Secret said goodbye to its curry SumaiL, signing Crystallis from Entity to replace him. One lineup reshuffle didn't help success in the summer regional league round, so Puppey made another reshuffle before the regional classifications at TI11. Since the Riyadh Masters 2022 tournament, the team has been playing with Zayac, who came in fourth instead of YapzOr, and with the Resolut1on triple instead of iceiceice. The transfer of the latter greatly enhanced the team's game, although Resol has not played anywhere for a long time, and in Team Secret he plays not in the usual position of the carry, but the third one.

Let's be honest, no one believes in this Filipino team in this Last Chance Qualifier, but so far, the debutants of the international scene look good and, out of all the underdogs, look like a terrifying fighting unit. On the first game day, Polaris Esports played two games, of which they won one (with nouns) and shared points in one (with Natus Vincere). The Filipinos see billets, and if Puppey and Co. don't wake up, one card the Asians can take away from the favorite.

The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier tournament is the first international test for the young Filipino team. Few believed that Polaris Esports could overcome regional qualification. The Filipinos were one step away from the main stage of TI11 and the only team in all regions where the finalist did not come out with a 0-3 rout but fought back and finished 2-3. It's hard to summarize how the players felt after such an upsetting defeat. Maybe it would have been much easier to bounce back from the 0-3 loss, which became iconic for all regions.

After their disappointing summer tour in the regional DPC league's first division, Polaris Esports worked on their mistakes. After battling in the elite of the Asian Dota scene, the team played two tournaments: a closed qualification for ESL One Malaysia 2022 and the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 Asian laning tournament. Notably, Polaris Esports was knocked out of stuff for the ESL One Malaysia 2022 tournament by Talon Esports (1-2). That game was for a slot in the main event, and Polaris Esports won even the first card, but 23savage and Co. pulled themselves together and capped off that encounter. In the second tournament, Polaris Esports made it to the grand final, beating BOOM Esports (2-3) but couldn't win. The TI11 regional qualifiers also had successes that I wrote about at the beginning of this preview, but the Filipinos also came up short. I dare to believe that in the "last chance" qualification tournament for The International 2022, the Polaris Esports team can surprise.

Polaris Esports is a Filipino team that was formed in September 2021. From the start, the team has established themselves as militant and severe because the fourth place in the first division of the spring regional DPC league speaks volumes. Of course, the pack was focused on making it to TI11. They started in Division 2, which they won safely after the first winter round, while also playing in several Tier 3 tournaments, which they won. But the team failed in the summer round, becoming eighth in the elite and thus dropping out of the ranks of the strongest Asian teams.

For this match, we offer the following options: Draw, TO (101.5), and IT2O (39.5).
