T1 vs Execration Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │31 MARCH, 2022

The second DPC league of the 2021/22 season in the Asian region will continue on Thursday, March 31. T1 and Execration will meet in the only match of the day in the elite division.

DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I is an online Dota 2 tournament taking place from March 16 to April 21, 2022. The top eight teams from the Southeast Asia region will battle it out for $205,000. On top of the cash prizes, the teams will battle for three entries to the majors and the all-important DPC points needed to qualify for T11.

T1 lost their first Asian surprise spring game to Polaris Esports (0-2), but luckily in the next round, they were up against the Asian boys from Nigma (2-1) who, despite their huge losing streak, snatched even one map from T1. T1’s play was unimpressive until their last meeting with SMG (2-0), which the titular leaders won convincingly, without giving the tough opponents a real head start. Today, T1 has a game against an outsider and it’s unacceptable to lose points.

T1 was another Asian team that changed their carry in the January off-season. But this team had a rather high-profile first position decision, with the departure of star 23savage. He was replaced by Gabbi, a Filipino known for his performance in TNC and last season in the ambitious Talon project.

The departure of 23savage has been attributed to the unwillingness of the entire team to play with him and may have been the reason for such a failure of the T1 squad in January when play and results abruptly disappeared. Although we shouldn’t dismiss the effects of the lack of a major, a sharp drop in motivation to play, the discord in the T1 team is more plausible, but now much has changed, there was a replacement and in the regional finals, T1 performed more successfully (2nd place) than in the regional league (3rd place). After the regional finals, T1 took part in the tenth season of the BTS tournament series, where they finished third.

This team is the main favourite in SEA this season, even though they finished third in the first DPC league and some crazy rise in the BOOM squad’s game plan. T1 had a great season for themselves last season. It qualified for TI10, earned a million dollars, and finished 7-9 in the main tournament of the year. All the organization’s top achievements are associated with LoL, but there has been some progress in Dota 2.

The Filipinos failed to win their three games at the start of this spring split. First, they failed to beat SMG (0-2), then they also failed to beat their arch-rivals Neon (1-2). The last game was with Fnatic (1:2) and it was a loss again. T1 has never coped with it, so the “peak” continues.

Sixth place in the first round of the Asian DPC league could not satisfy this Filipino team, so the team will start the spring part of the season with three newcomers. Palos, who has been on the move from one Philippine team to another and is his number two try for Execration in the last year, is back at the carry position. A major reinforcement was the arrival of the trio of Tino, who with BOOM was the DPC league’s first-round champion. The third newcomer was fourth position player Shanks, who doesn’t particularly impress me, a typical transfer for Execration, not to be compared to Tino’s arrival from Asia’s first team to the sixth.

Unlike their current opponents, the revamped Execration squad tried to prove themselves in the BTS Pro Series Season 10: Southeast Asia, finishing fourth in the tourney. Just before the start of the DPC league, the Filipinos were vice-champions of the PNXBET Invitationals Southeast Asia Season 4 tournament, where they strangely failed to oppose Polaris (0-3) in the final.

T1 will win with a handicap (-1.5) on the maps; the odds on this are 2.20.

On the first map, the teams will make less than 52.5 kills; the odds on it are 1.84.

The second map will be less than 36.5 minutes; the odds are 1.87.
