Soniqs vs Fnatic Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │7 AUGUST, 2022

One of the most important international Dota 2 tournaments, the PGL Arlington Major 2022, will continue in the United States on Sunday, August 7. Soniqs and Fnatic will play in the third round of group stage games on the fourth day.

PGL Arlington Major 2022 is a major international cyber-sports tournament in Dota 2. The tournament in the U.S. will be the second and final major event of the 2021/22 DPC season. Top 17 teams from around the world will compete for the prize pool of $500,000 and 4,570 DPC points from August 4th till August 14th.

Soniqs is not in the best of situations. The Americans start the fourth game day on the very edge of the playoff zone and have four draws (RNG, Thunder Awaken, OG and PSG.LGD) with two losses (Team Liquid and Talon Esports). The game with PSG.LGD showed that the Americans will fight to the last to make the playoffs of the home major.

Soniqs is the former Quincy Crew, the winner of the first North American Regional League this DPC cycle 2021/22. Quincy Crew players were the most outraged about the cancellation of the first major. It was no surprise since they should have been preparing for the playoffs in the major, only to get another four-team regional showdown. The QC players failed at the regional finals, becoming only the third team in their region to receive no extra DPC points. Whether that resulted from a reluctance to play after the cancellation of the Majors is possible, but in the second DPC league, the guys failed in the replay. With six wins and only one loss, Quincy Crew was forced to have a replay, which they failed miserably, leaving them without a major, which was held in May.

In the new summer tour, the team was once again formed around the first and second playing positions, Quinn and YawaR, joined from Alliance by Brazilian third position carry player LESLÃO, with MSS and Fata defending the honor of the team in the support position. Quincy Crew is stil a force to be reckoned with. The team has become second in the summer tour, so the American squad will perform for the home audience. The main thing is that they have something to show and not to fail miserably.

The Major is the only international tournament where Quincy Crew will play before TI11 (if they get there). It's a shame they lost the qualification to TSM (2-3) for ESL One Malaysia 2022, but it's important to get DPC points on the Major to not worry about getting to the Int, although if EG and TSM make it to the main tournament of the year, it's hard to imagine who can fight Quincy Crew in the North American qualification.

A very strange situation: as many as three players at Fnatic did not get visas and the Major organization allowed this Asian team to play with three (!!!) substitutes at once. It is noteworthy that a trio of players were found in TSM, so it is rather an American team, because Asians are in the minority in this temporary stack called Fnatic. Everyone immediately buried this team. However, they continue to surprise, having lost only once, and that to the undefeated PSG.LGD. At the same time, the team sits 3rd in a difficult group that A is. Fnatic beat Team Liquid (2-0) and drew four times with RNG, Outsiders, OG, and Thunder Awaken. And the guys obviously have no intention to stop there!

After TI10 there were changes at Fnatic: Armel, an experienced player from TNC Predator, sat on the mid, while Jaunuel from OB Esports x Neon got the hard-support. In January the team was completely re-synchronized and Fnatic became an powerful once again.

At the end of the first DPC they managed to make a comeback and reach the Majors, which was canceled at the last minute. In the second DPC league there were no such problems, they quietly occupied the top-3 preparing for the majors.

In Sweden, as part of the group stage, the magic of numbers followed the team. They finished the entire first stage with the statistics of 2-2-2, which did not allow them to start in the winners. In the first match of the playoffs, the guys received a familiar opponent — T1, overcoming them with a score of 2-1. And then there was the game with OG (1-2), which was also supposed to have ended with a victory, only for the Europeans to make a comeback on the third map. After that OG couldn't be stopped. Fnatic finished the major in 7th-8th place, which is not bad overall.

TSM players are well acquainted with Soniqs, so I don't believe in the success of the North American squad.

Team Fnatic continues to surprise. Moreover, in this confrontation, I suggest betting on them, especially with such juicy odds of 3.24 at 22bet.

You can also bet on Frags Total Over (98.5) for 1.83 at 1xbet.

Fnatic’s Total Frags in two maps will be Over (47.5) for 1.83 at Bet365.
