Monday, September 6, marks the first game day of the highly anticipated OGA Dota PIT Invitational. PSG.LGD and Team Undying have been given the right to open the tournament.
The OGA Dota PIT Invitational is an International Dota 2 tournament that will brighten up the September TI10 wait. The contest will run from September 6-10. The tournament will feature 8 of the strongest teams from China, Europe, CIS, South East Asia, North and South America competing for $275,000.
PSG.LGD: Team will not continue to conquer Europe in full strength
PSG.LGD showed at the last ESL One Fall 2021 tournament that the result is not that important for them. Now the team is just trying new heroes, sometimes peaking outright horror, but that did not stop them from reaching the grand finals of a major international tournament and being on the map from the championship. They failed to win, but we don’t forget that the lads are still playing without their main mid from Malaysia, NothingToSay, who is still having problems leaving the country due to the pandemic. At ESL One Fall, he’s been replaced by coach Xiao8 who has proven himself to be a real player, better than some of the world’s top midfielders.
The OGA Dota PIT Invitational will be the next tournament for the Chinese squad, and it’s notable that a couple of days before their departure for Europe, PSG.LGD won the same tournament, but purely for the Chinese region. Will the Chinese repeat their success?

Team Undying: Their first trip to Europe
Team Undying are a usual mix of five guys who have decided to get together in January 2021 before starting the new DPC season. Since the competition in North America is minimal, conquer the region. In the DPC leagues themselves, the guys were third all the time, which prevented them from trying their hand on the international scene.
Besides DPC leagues, the boys had silver in BTS Pro Series Season 5: Americas (March 2021) and gold in BTS Pro Series Season 6: Americas (June 2021), but most importantly, winning qualification for TI10, which will give the boys the opportunity to earn a lot of money.
The team has no title sponsor. After securing a trip to the International, the boys decided to announce a fundraising appeal for this European boot camp via their social networks. The team came to Europe thanks to their victory in the BTS Pro Series Season 7: Americas in August and several donations from fans of the team.
In terms of names, the Czech off leader SabeRLight, who recently played for the now-defunct Ninjas in Pyjamas, is a stand-out. He is no stranger to North America, having been on loan from Quincy Crew in 2019, so he knows the region well.
Most of the pack is from the CR4ZY team: midfielder Bryle, soppers MoonMeander and DuBu. Note that the latter also has experience as a coach. The Korean player played at The International 2015 as MVP and finished 7th-8th at the tournament.
An interesting curry player in the Undying squad is Peruvian Timado, who has left EgoBoys, and his former team’s play has deteriorated sharply. Let’s see how the southerner performs in Europe and a major tournament.
