Upper Bracket Semi-Finals
PSG.LGD vs Royal Never Give Up
Format: BO3
06.05.22, 11:00
The second China Regional Final kicks off on Friday, May 06, where the top four teams from DPC League Two will battle it out for extra TI11 ranking points and the prize money. Starting the Chinese battles will be PSG.LGD and Royal Never Give Up.
DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 2: Regional Final is an online Dota 2 tournament that will take place in China from May 06-8, 2022. This competition was organized due to the inability of Chinese teams to travel to Sweden for the majors due to COVID-19 restrictions, so the top four teams in the Chinese region will compete against each other for $100,000,000 and 750 DPC points.

In my opinion, PSG.LGD is now the most stable team in the world. As the Eastern European regional playoffs showed, even the TI10 winners Spirit are now in a very unstable game. It's worth realizing that xiao8 won their first DPC league and first regional final in China, repeated their success in the league this spring, and should have torn everyone and everything in Sweden, but the covid restrictions don't even let the Chinese players breathe.
All through the second DPC league, the PSG.LGD team went without a single defeat, occasionally giving up only one card each. The strongest players in China lost only in the last game, which meant nothing to them, allowing Aster (1:2) to inflict their first defeat on them this spring. The squad remains the same in the off-season, and the upcoming three-day league should not be a big problem, the PSG.LGD team should take their class, given that some squads are already in full swing of replacements, and some are simply out of shape.
Royal Never Give Up: How will the debutants prove themselves?
Yes, the RNG squad was able to qualify for the DPC spring round in the majors, but they did so in a very uncertain manner. First of all, the end of the championship was a disaster, losing all their matches to direct opponents 2-0 - games against PSG.LGD, Aster and Xtreme Gaming. The Royal Club management could not watch their brainchild, just starting to show something in 2022, crumble before their eyes and make replacements after the regional league.
In the 4th position, RNG now has kaka, while the former SAG player Ghost has come to test in the 1st position. This regional final will be a great test for the newcomers. In addition to this mini-tournament, RNG has also tried out their newcomers in qualification games for the Gamers Without Borders tournament. Still, the level of opponents and importance of the games in these qualification games is far lower than the DPC points at stake.
Expert Betting Tips
It is not excluded that PSG.LGD in this match may test something and approach RNG not with all seriousness, but replacements in the Royal Club will not quickly solve the problems of the game. The team's new members still need to get used to the tactics, schemes and intra-team communication, and PSG.LGD even in a relaxed state through too strong, and the tournament is important, so I lean towards the handicap 1 (-1.5) on maps for 1.83.
On the first map, I expect Total Over 47.5 kills for 1.80.
PSG.LGD will win the second map with a handicap (-10.5) kills; the odds are 1.74.
