nouns is a North American Dota 2 team that entered the competitive scene in May 2022 by signing 4 Zoomers. The guys began to write a new history for themselves in their new organization by winning the BTS all-season tournament of the eleventh season, where they defeated Team DogChamp (3-1) in the finals. Remarkably, the base of this team's tag-team buzzer-beater BTS tournament was only won more than a year ago — in March 2021, as part of their fifth season. There were a few more finals, but it didn't come to a victory until after they were signed by the new organization.
It was unusual to see the 4 Zoomers team so low in the DPC leagues: the guys finished fourth in the first winter round and fifth in the second spring championship. Fourth place in January allowed the team to participate in the regional finals, which, instead of the major, Valve organized for each region, but there this squad was fourth, losing both matches and getting just a little extra cash compensation, without important DPC points, which were extremely important for the current nouns.
In the summer round of the regional DPC league, nouns had the best performance, becoming third, and even had a chance to go to the major in the USA. In the TI11 Regional Qualifiers this American team was excellent, beating Soniqs 2-0 in the Final, but in the Grand Final their more experienced opponent took a confident revenge 0-3.
In short, nouns are a typical average American team, which can demonstrate something in their region, but nothing more. On the international arena, these players haven't been around for a long time and it's unlikely they have anything to show.
Natus Vincere: are they ready to surprise?
Since the participation of Natus Vincere at The International 2019, this Ukrainian organization has finally assembled a fighting lineup in Dota 2. Many people were incredulous about the appearance of such a player as swedenstrong in the team, but as time has shown and the third summer regional DPC league, he is second to none in position four.
At the end of the first winter tour in the regional DPC league, Natus Vincere was the fifth, then in the spring there was the shortest league, but even there NaVi players could not cling to the top three and settled for 4th-6th place. In the summer, with the arrival of swedenstrong, the team blossomed and sensationally became second in the summer tour, finally getting a slot in the major. In the United States, Natus Vincere did not show any worthwhile play and settled for only 13-14th place at the PGL Arlington Major 2022.
In the TI11 regional qualification, the team led by Solo came in third, as many experts expected. What are NaVi's chances of making it through the Last Chance Qualifier? Slim, but if they get off to a good start and find their game, they could go far.
