Upper Bracket Round 1
Format: BO3
Wednesday, July 07 sees the first day of qualifying for The International 10 in China. LBZS and Royal Never Give Up will do battle.
The International 10 China Qualifier is the Chinese indoor qualifier for Dota2’s biggest tournament of the year, The International 10. The ten teams from the region that didn’t make it directly to the internationals will compete for a sole place in the tournament. The Chinese will decide who gets the slot from July 07-10, 2021.
LBZS: A team that can put up a fight
This team has never competed in any important championships. But excellent play in January's closed qualifiers allowed them to participate in the elite of the first DPC league. But the result was a failure and after finishing in 8th place the Sun left China's elite and went on to the second division, where they finished second in the second DPC league.
This team is not one of the main contenders to win this qualification, but the Sun can impose a fight and go far in the same lower net, but if they show their maximum, which will be visible already in the match with RNG.
Royal Never Give Up: The third contender for the International
The RNG team comes from the second division of the first DPC league, in which they finished the season not without defeats, but rather confidently. In the March offseason, they took a strong player Dstones and fought hard in the i-League. All the representatives of China's elite there, the boys fought back, even beating some of them. In the second DPC League, the RNG team played among the elite teams, but still failed and dropped to the second division.
Overall, this team was not among the favourites of this season in the elite, but these guys were able to surprise. They even had a chance to fight for the majors but lost in their key games and had to fight to keep their place in the elite. Now Elephant and Royal Never Give Up exchanged the fifth position, the RNG leader Super went to Elephant, and RedPanda returned to the Royal Club system.
The boys may surprise in this qualification and the first stop is a win over LBZS.
