Evil Geniuses: To Score Points

Evil Geniuses has managed to take first place in North America's first division of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22. The team won six matches out of a possible seven, but that result only allowed them to reach the replay for the top 3. Evil Geniuses won both bo1 matches and finished first place for the season, qualifying for the major. Of course, eight wins in a row look powerful, but you shouldn't forget that they were all won in their home region, where the level of competition is not as high. It will be much more difficult on the international stage, and EG cannot be considered the main favorite. But for the playoffs, Evil Geniuses must qualify. Probably not so easy for the top score, but they have to be eligible for the top six.

Boom E-sports: In Good Shape

Boom E-sports has had a great Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 for Southeast Asia. The team won six out of seven matches, securing the top-2 in the region. Boom E-sports was stronger than Talon Esports in the first-place replay, affirming their lead in the region. The team also participated in the closed qualifications for ESL One Malaysia 2022, where without any problems took a slot for themselves, beating the same Talon Esports in the decisive match. The team is in good shape now, but also, like Evil Geniuses, shows this form only in their region. We'll see how the guys will hold themselves in the international tournament. Boom E-sports has an even more impressive winning streak than EG, with nine victories in a row. Both teams are pretty good right now and should be able to exchange wins on the maps.
