This DPC season, the BOOM Esports team is one of Asia's most formidable forces. The team won the winter tour, in the second, due to a mistake in the first game (got those losses for not showing up for the match), became the vice-champion, and still went to the majors, where the guys performed rather mediocre, for 9-12 place is not what the Filipinos hoped for without the presence of the Chinese teams.
Ahead of the final third summer round of the regional league, the BOOM Esports lineup was expectedly unchanged. And why break what works. But the game is far from perfect, as it was in January this year. Fatigue is accumulating, and just the first and so far the only match this summer against Team SMG (2-1) is an indicator of that. It should have been a favorite to quietly close the opponent with a score of 2-0, but it falied. So we have little faith in a confident victory BOOM Esports team this summer, especially against strong teams such as Talon Esports.
Talon Esports: 23savage is back in the elite to win
So far, the guys from Talon Esports have been very good with their play. They won the first match of the summer tour against Polaris Esports (2-1) but did not cope with the bold debutant of the elite and the team Nigma Galaxy SEA (2-1), which generally took one map because 23savage and Co. decided to experiment on the second map and were close to flip the light draft their not the best choice of heroes. The guys have the power, and the experienced guys in this lineup aren't exactly afraid of BOOM.
Talon Esports is a Hong Kong-based eSports organization that broke into the Dota 2 world in November 2021. It started out ambitious: the Fly and Gabbi signings sounded formidable, but the star-studded lineup couldn't even make it out of the second division, which immediately forced the "stars" to leave the project. Not from the first time the team passed the open quals, in the first round, and even became the fifth in the lower leagues, but the organization did not immediately shut down the project. It just started to act differently, to form a different lineup, which gave the result.
The big move of the first position 23savage from T1 was an important aspect that helped the team take the second place in the second division at the end of the second DPC league spring round and get a ticket to the elite, where the guys are going to show their power if you can call it that. The roster did not change after the spring season. The team did not play anywhere else but was systematically preparing for its debut in the elite.
Expert Betting Tips
Talon Esports team showed good preparation for the summer tour. You can see that in the offseason, 23savage with his teammates spent a lot of time on improving their game, which has already given the result at the start. The elite debutant is undefeated so far, which means they can take the minimum from BOOM, which is not so stable lately. Handicap 2 (+1.5) on the maps is available at 1.65.
In this game, I expect three maps, so I recommend betting on Total Over 2.5 maps for 2.11.
You can take a risk and bet on the correct score of 2:1 in favor of BOOM Esports for 3.15.
