The BetBoom Team has a new lineup for its first ESL tournament. Previously, the team came third at BetBoom Dacha 2024. They only lost to Tundra Esports in Belgrade. The previous roster did well at DreamLeague events and was consistently in the top three. Will the new roster continue the tradition?
So far, most of the team's issues seem to be related to Kiyotaka. Gleb took a break from the professional scene, but in 2024 he played more often at the tier-3 level with 9Pandas. Kiyo's performances on the BetBoom Team are all over the place, ranging from brilliant to failed. Sometimes, he wins convincingly, and sometimes, he loses the game because of a few mistakes. Gleb needs to play more official matches, precisely what DreamLeague Season 24 is all about. BetBoom Team has two solid and well-played lines. MieRo and Save played for the old organization all last season, while Pure and Kataomi played in Entity in 2022.
On paper, they have once again put together a great team, and this time around, success seems more likely. Pure has already made a name for himself as a top gaming leader and carry, with young, talented guys playing in all positions. The BetBoom Team plays more relaxed and interesting compared to last season, and we're hopeful that we'll see the team lifting the trophy shortly.
Team Liquid
Team Liquid got off to a great start in DreamLeague Season 24 with a crucial win over Gaimin Gladiators. In the final of Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024, Team Liquid kept up their winning streak, proving they're the year's top team. The team came in 7th-8th at Dacha, but it was their first LAN tournament after a long break.
Team Liquid played against SaberLight in Belgrade, which was new to the competition. Czech had a bit of an inconsistent performance at the tournament. He played well in some matches but struggled in others, particularly in the laning phase. Ultimately, it comes down to Nisha to deliver on the result. The Pole can play any line to the max and is versatile in his hero pool. Team Liquid vs SaberLight is back in mid-game action, with the team taking characters with low key cooldowns.
Team Liquid has been at the top for a long time, and in 2024, they managed to solve the main problem – they interrupted the LuzStreak in the grand finals. Historically, Liquid has performed less well online than at LAN events. In the last four DreamLeague seasons, Team Liquid hasn't managed to get past the first group stage. This season, though, Liquid has had a good start in Group A, and they might be hoping to break that disappointing tradition at ESL's online tournaments.

The teams exchanged maps at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and went their separate ways. In BO2, draws are pretty common, so we'll also expect one map for each team here.
