The group stage of The International 10 has come to an end. Teams from the CIS managed to please their fans and get into the top draw, albeit not without problems. Otherwise, the group stage offered few surprises, with the Chinese teams dominating and South America weaker than the rest.
On October 12, BeastCoast and Alliance will play their opening game in the playoffs of the lower grids of The International 10. We’ll find out which team is more potent and will continue to fight in the tournament very soon.
BeastCoast: They could have done better
BeastCoast had an excellent start to the tournament and were well on their way to the top of the playoffs. Still, their recent matches weren’t perfect, and they finished only fifth in Group B. BeastCoast have not won any of their last four games, limiting themselves to two draws and two defeats. In the vital group game, the boys lost to Team Spirit, and in that match, they looked terrible, especially the team’s midfield. Nevertheless, now the team will face an easier opponent, which will allow them to play, and if BeastCoast does not fill up the drafts, they will win, as they look more potent than their current opponent in terms of play.
Alliance: It isn’t good
Alliance had one good DPC season, and that was the end of the team’s successes. The team has been scoring horribly in recent months, and it’s bizarre that before The International 10, they failed to turn things around in any way. There was plenty of time for the boys, though. The group stage of The International 10 Alliance was poorly conducted. The team finished in last but one place in Group A and managed to win only one match out of eight. Even Loda has said in interviews that the team made the playoffs in part because of the Thunder’s failure. The CEO of the organization understands that his team is one of the worst in the tournament. Frankly, I can not imagine that Alliance will pass any of the remaining opponents in the tournament. It would be a true miracle.
Expert Betting Tips
BeastCoast looks to be the clear favorite. The team in the group stage looked many times better than their opponent today. Alliance at The International 10 are very bad and are unlikely to make even one round. There is minimal hope that their curry will take the team out solo, but that shouldn’t happen.
The bookmakers are offering odds of 1.70 on a BeastCoast win, which looks like a good option. You can also take the duration of the first map over 36.5 for 1.70.
