CTBC Flying Oyster vs Beyond Gaming Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds│01 SEPTEMBER, 2022

Thursday, September 1 will see round four of the 2022 Summer Pacific Championship Series play-off stage, featuring a match between CTBC Flying Oyster and Beyond Gaming.

The Pacific Championship Series 2022 Summer (PCS 2022 Summer) is the sixth season of the new League of Legends, a fully professional league played in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia. Ten teams compete in a group stage for the right to reach the playoffs, with a prize pool of $76,000 and a ticket to Worlds 2022. This split runs from July 1 to September 4, 2022.

Roster:

  • Rest — Hsu Shih-Chieh (Top Laner);
  • Gemini — Huang Chu-Xuan (Jungler);
  • Mission — Chen Hsiao-Hsien (Mid Laner);
  • Atlen — Sung Ya-Lun (Bot Laner);
  • Koala — Lin Chih-Chiang (Support).

CTBC Flying Oyster's performance on this split was as good as the last, but the team made some bad mistakes, leading to the 4th-5th place in the overall standings, with 12-6. Because of the even score, the guys had to play a tiebreak for fourth place against Frank Esports, who could not compete with CTBC Flying Oyster. The playoff stage itself started out pretty easy for the guys. In the opening match, the guys again faced Frank Esports, who they easily beat 3-1 on the maps. In the second round, CTBC Flying Oyster met with PSG Talon, which they defeated 3-2 on maps, reaching the final of the upper bracket. The next opponent will be Beyond Gaming, who beat Deep Cross Gaming 3-0 on the maps.

CTBC Flying Oyster is a Taiwanese cybersports organization owned by CTBC Taiwan, which also owns the CTBC Brothers baseball team and the New Taipei CTBC DEA basketball team. CTBC Flying Oyster joined League of Legends and PCS cybersports after acquiring the PCS Hong Kong Attitude slot, replacing a team that had competed in League of Legends since 2013.

The organization had a pretty good spring split. After finishing the group stage in third place, CTBC Flying Oyster advanced to the grand final in the upper bracket, losing only one map in three matches (that was in the upper bracket final. CTBC Flying Oyster defeated PSG Talon 3-1 on the maps), but PSG Talon pulled out a 3-2 win on the maps in the final, making it to MSI 2022. The organization did not make any substitutions before the summer split.

Roster:

  • Likai — Liao Li-Kai (Top Laner);
  • HuSha — Huang Tzu-Wei (Jungler);
  • Minji — Lu Po-Wei (Mid Laner);
  • Wako — Tsou Wei-Yang (Bot Laner);
  • Kino — Chu Wu Hsin-Jung (Support).

The performance of Beyond Gaming in this split cannot be called good, but the organization reached the playoff stage from sixth place, which guaranteed starting the next stage in the upper bracket. The group stage started very well, but a few losses sent the guys to sixth place, as the first six teams have a serious competition, where one victory was very decisive. The first opponent of Beyond Gaming in the playoff stage was J Team, who could not do anything, losing 3-1 on the maps. The next match was one of the most unexpected. The guys beat Deep Cross Gaming 3-0 on the maps, putting the organization into the upper bracket final. The next opponent for Beyond Gaming will be CTBC Flying Oyster, who they can beat.

Beyond Gaming is a Taiwanese team owned by Dinter. The group currently performs under Mega Bank Beyond Gaming for sponsorship reasons. Beyond Gaming was formed in 2021 by acquiring a slot on PCS, from AHQ e-Sports Club by former professional player DinTer. The roster consists of Liang, HuSha, Husky, Doggo and Kino. This team finished 2nd in their debut split, losing to PSG Talon in the Spring 2021 finals. Doggo was loaned out to PSG Talon for MSI 2021, but returned to the team after that loan period, finishing 3rd-4th. Building on that success, Beyond Gaming stayed with the same lineup they had in the summer. Here they finished second again, beating PSG Talon the first time, but ultimately losing 3-2 in the finals. After finishing second in the PCS, Beyond Gaming qualified for the 2021 World Cup in their debut year. After their 3-2 win over Galatasaray Esports earlier in the day, news began to break that Maoan was leaking draft information for betting purposes. Later that night, LoL Esports announced that Maoan had been banned until the end of the 2021 World Series. PK took the middle line spot, against Hanwha Life Esports, whom Beyond Gaming lost 3-0 and placed 17-18 in the event.

The spring split for Beyond Gaming did not turn out too well. The organization finished fifth in the group stage, but in the playoff stage, the guys crashed out in the second round, thus taking only 5th-6th place in the spring split. Before the summer split, the organization picked up a second mid-laner they did not play at this stage of the playoffs.

These teams have played each other four times. Beyond Gaming leads with a score of 3-1 on the series and maps. In this split, these teams have faced off twice. At the moment, the score is tied at 1-1.

We suggest taking Beyond Gaming’s Hadicap (+1.5) for 1.725 at 1xbet. You can also risk and bet on their victory for 2.62 at Bet365. Another great option is Duration Of The 1st Map Over 31 for 1.832 at 22bet.
