The eSports festivities continue as The International 10 is followed by the CS:GO Major in Stockholm. The best teams in the world will meet once again to see who’s worthy of the title of the best team in the world and draw a prize pool of 2 million dollars. Of course, after the TI, the sum doesn’t look that big, but trust us: there will be no less exciting, highlights and high tempers.
On October 29, Team Spirit and Astralis will play their next match in PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Will the Russian team defeat one of the most titled CS:GO teams? We will know very soon.
Claim Welcome Bonus!Team Spirit: The team is in a bad mood
Team Spirit was very close to reaching the next stage of the Majors but suffered a bitter defeat at the hands of Virtus.pro. Leading 14-7 on the deciding map, the squad couldn’t crush their opponent. The boys got badly frustrated and failed to take a single round in the extra rounds. This defeat could hit hard on the morale of a team that was already struggling. The Dragons will almost certainly spade their Dust2 map. They won their last two head-to-head matches on it, and it’s the team’s best map in terms of win rate. But in these stages of the tournament, it’s more about the experience, focus, and morale, which the Danes have more of, so even with their best map, Team Spirit doesn’t look the favourite.
Astralis: More comfortable in bo3
Astralis resoundingly lost their first two matches and put themselves on the brink of relegation. Nevertheless, the team did not give up and showed that it was too early to write them off in the next two games. The Danes confidently dealt with the two Brazilian sides without giving them a single card. Yes, the opponents were not of the highest level, but even such victories should give the team confidence. As for maps, the Danes should take their pick of Inferno. This is one of the strongest Astralis maps and the weakest in Team Spirit. Not once in the history of head-to-head encounters have the Dragons beat the Danes on this map, so picking Inferno Astralis makes it an easy map. And given the Dust2 peak, Astralis doesn’t look too bad. This encounter could end with a 2-0 score, not favoring the Russian team.
Expert Betting Tips
Astralis looks like the favourite to win the meeting. The Danes are gaining confidence with each match and playing better, the Dragons are not at a moral disadvantage because of yesterday’s defeat, and the map pool is very good for Astralis. The bookmakers are offering odds of 1.77 on the Danes’ victory with a handicap (-2.5), which looks like a good option. You can also take Total Under 2.5 maps for 1.83.
