Format: BO1
25.08.2022, 14:00
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 is one of the seasonal stages of the BLAST Premier League. There are no qualifying games for this tournament. Only twelve invited teams will play and compete for $177,500 in prize money. But the grand prize will be a ticket for the next stage, the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, awarded to the first through sixth place teams in this tournament.
The format of Fall Groups 2022 is unique and does not replicate any of the previous tournaments. The championship will be held in three stages: the group stage, the "knock-out" stage, and the "last chance" stage. For the group stage, the teams - participants were divided into three groups of four teams each. All group stage matches will be played in BO1 format and in a double elimination system (any team will face the defeated team in a parallel match and have the opportunity to continue in the lower bracket) for each group. At the end of the group stage, none of the teams will leave the tournament, and it will only be a struggle to seed to the next stage. The next knock-out stage is similar in structure to the playoff grid, but only three teams will leave the tournament at this stage, and three more will receive a place for the next league round. The remaining six teams will go on to the "last chance" stage, where the teams that occupy the remaining three slots will be determined. All second and third-stage matches will be played in BO3, single elimination.
The opening match of the knock-out phase will be a confrontation between teams with minimal chances of winning the tournament. Though the North American team didn't finish last in their group like their opponents in theirs, the situation is still the same for both teams. This match will be an elimination match. We'll find out who will be the first to leave the BLAST stage very soon.

"nexa", after joining the OG team, gave some interesting interviews, where he said he was happy to move to such a team. According to his words, it can be judged that he has long been watching the composition of the OG from the outside because he spoke in detail about the structure of their game and how he plans to change their style. He also said he was glad to get out of the star-studded line-up, where he had to build his game from star players rather than his own understanding. Now he has this opportunity and "free hands" in the new team. Together with the new captain's vision of the game came new replacements in the line-up. Thus, we got a completely new team, the composition of which is in no way connected with the previous team.
However, it brought few results. The new squad started its way with the open qualification for the RMR tournament, where they successfully got a quota, playing against tier-3 teams and fpl mixes. The first serious test for the new OG line-up was the performance in this tournament, where the best teams in the world will be playing. Starting from the group stage, the OG team showed poor preparation and uncertain play, so they deservedly took the last place. Their next match will be against a team from North America, which also does not shine. Will the OG team be able to show a good game and go to the second round, or will they fail this tournament completely and go to training?
The new OG roster includes Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, Adam "NEOFRAG" Zouhar, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, Abdul "degster" Gasanov, and Maciej "F1KU" Miklas.

Complexity: Winning will be a sensation
The American organization Complexity went on the road of development by signing a new team. But the only thing they signed was not a full line-up of high-level, but the backbone of the tier-2 team Extra Salt and a few diversified players. Of course, it did not bring positive results, and the team could not compete with the top teams in Europe. Also, in their region, they could not gain a foothold in the rank of the top team. Nevertheless, because of their partnership agreements, there is a place in almost every event, and the time will come when they will gain experience and show their game. Before this tournament, after last season's failures, they had a break of more than a month to prepare and correct mistakes. Also, the team was reinforced with a new sniper - hallzerk, who is stronger than junior in this role.
In the new playing season, they have already managed to play a few games and get a feel for their game. They successfully placed first in the North American qualifiers for RMR. It sounds serious, except for the fact that the teams they played against were mixes from America. At this tournament, they could give us the scoop and beat the favorite in their opening game. In doing so, they asserted themselves and proved that they would be punished for underestimation. However, they began to prepare against them and did not win a match.
The last substitution in the line-up was the arrival of Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli in the sniper role.
The best rating according to hltv is 20th in the world. Currently, they are ranked 47th in the world.
The best map is overpass, with a win rate of 50% for 8 maps played.
