MOUZ had no trouble with the Turks and made it to the semifinals of the top set. The team is expected to be the favorite in their match against paIN Gaming, and they also have a good chance of winning BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2. What's the plan to beat the Brazilians?
First, in the match against Eternal Fire, we saw a familiar version of the Mice. They moved around the map quickly, made many good decisions, and turned over tough rounds, including full-eco. Secondly, Jimmphat started to stand out again. Finn has been a bit in the shadows of xertioN and torzsi lately, but in Belgrade, he shone, becoming one of the top three players of the tournament. And right behind him was siuhy. It's been shown repeatedly that if a MOUZ captain plays well and is in the top ten at a tournament, the team wins. This also happened at ESL Pro League Season 19 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 in May. Thirdly, the MOUZ game system isn't designed to cater to individual players. Even if Siuhy and Jimmphat's shooting declines for the event, there are always torzsi, xertioN, and Brollan to step in and help out—they're also great at working on the server.
MOUZ is always in the top three or four, except for rare exceptions. The Mice have been stable throughout the year and are ready to keep dominating Belgrade. But here, the team is aiming for at least the grand finals, where they'll face Team Spirit for the championship.
paIN Gaming
The Brazilians are already close to the HLTV top 10, with only 80 points and four positions between them and the top 10. With SAW, Complexity, and The MongolZ not playing at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2, a few wins will be enough to get as close as possible before the start of the fall. They're powerful on the server and don't let anyone take victories from them.
In the tournament's main stage, paIN Gaming came out on top against Heroic with a score of 2-1. The game showed that the Heroes were not doing their best, even though the outcomes of the maps were quite close. The Brazilians were on fire in the open shootouts, got into some pretty incredible situations, and made it clear that Heroic had no hope of a comeback. It'd be good to examine the young phenomenon Snow closely. He's only seventeen years old but not afraid to play on stage. He can solo a series of rounds as he did on Dust2 in the series with Heroic. He's essentially the third firing option after Biguzera and Nqz. The captain and sniper also did well in Belgrade. Biguzera is better at finishing maps, while NQZ with the AWP was the star of the show on the second and third maps with Heroic.
PaIN Gaming isn't afraid to play aggressively, go for open spots, and exchange shots with opponents. The Brazilians are doing well. They almost never lose in their region or on the international stage. PaIN Gaming has made great progress and reached a new level even without star players or many invites to big tournaments.
Expert Betting Tips
MOUZ rarely lets their opponents get a map unless it's one of the top five HLTV teams. The Brazilians will put up a fight, but in the end, they won't even be able to make the case for a decider. It's not that paIN Gaming is weaker, it's just that the Mice will make very few mistakes.
