While most of the eyes of eSports fans are fixed on The International 10, CS:GO is slowly beginning to warm up its fans for the major. BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021 will be the last tournament featuring tier-1 teams before the CS:GO, the year’s main event. Which teams will clinch places in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021?
On October 15, Heroic and Dignitas will play their next match in the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021. Which team will be stronger and will pass on? We will know very soon.
Heroic: Taking a rest before the Major
Heroic have been selected for the Major and have not shown their best game in recent matches. The guys are playing relaxed. The team didn’t put up much of a fight in the last match of IEM Fall 2021 against OG and didn’t play their first match at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown with 100% effort. Yes, the Danes beat POGGERZ, but did so in a highly unsure manner, allowing the 155th ranked HLTV team to take too many rounds. The Danes, of course, have been picking Nuke with their map most of the time. True, Dignitas have one of the strongest maps, if not the strongest, so in theory, the Danes could give up Nuke. Especially when you consider that Overpass looks like a good option for Heroic. Although the Danes play this map not so often, they have excellent win rates and wins over very formidable opponents, while Dignitas has only a 33% win rate and plays mostly against Tier-2 teams. In any case, Heroic will be very comfortable playing on these two maps and may be even more comfortable on Overpass.
Dignitas: The boys are unstable
Dignitas look unstable at the moment. The guys can outplay EXTREMUM or Fiend one day and lose to them 0-2 without a chance the next day. The team on the Tier-2 stage is all about whether it flies or not. In the last match, Dignitas beat Fiend 2-0, and in the second map, they managed to get back from 2-13 and take 14 rounds in a row. Still, it’s worth mentioning that the Bulgarians played a very weak match and were inferior to their opponents in shooting, which was not the case in their previous face-off. Dignitas are tough to play against teams from the top 20. They have very few serious victories. The last thing you can remember is the victory over Team Liquid in April this year. As for the upcoming match, Dignitas very often take Nuke, but they are unlikely to take it in this match, especially considering that the Danes can pick this map themselves. Mirage looks like a nicer pick for Dignitas, but things don’t look super reliable on it either. Still, the Danes know how to play this map, and the exact tight match against NaVi in the EPL is more proof of that. Of course, the map can affect the outcome, but still, the Danes are too superior to their opponent in individual skill, and Dignitas itself is extremely unstable now to be expected to win.
Expert Betting Tips
Heroic are not showing their best game right now, but they should be able to overpower Dignitas, who are not precisely blazingly accurate themselves. The odds on Heroic to win with a handicap (-6.5) are 1.67, which does not look too bad. You can also bet on the Danes’ 2-0 for 1.95.
