The Danish team had a high-profile decision before entering CS2. Longtime captain cadiaN was replaced by five-time major champion dupreeh. It's not entirely clear why Kasper left a team that was recently top-1 in HLTV and was consistently making finals and winning tournaments. Dupreeh came temporarily, and it is not sure if he will become a permanent player in the team.

There are rumors that Stavn will play for AWP. It is impossible to predict how Martin will play with a sniper rifle. But the point is different - cadiaN has never been a perfect sniper, so Heroic's style will change slightly. Who will captain Heroic? Hardly Dupreeh, as he is still a rookie; the other players are more focused on individual performance than on the team. 

But that shouldn't be a problem against Aurora Gaming. The current opponent is a solid Dash 2 team but has never pulled off an upset against a top 10 HLTV team. Heroic had some ridiculous losses in ESL Pro League Season 18, but not against opponents ranked 39th on the HLTV.

The Russian organization has never played a tournament of this level during its existence, and its highs were appearances at CCT Series events. In 2023, there was a period when Aurora Gaming won several dash-2 tournaments in a row, but the successes still need to materialize in further development and reaching dash-1 opponents.

In the last three months, the team has played a lot of maps with good win rates. They have a great Nuke (72%), an Inferno (66%), and a pretty strong Ancient (60%). The statistical leader of the team is KENSI: 1.12 HLTV rating, 76 damage per round, and 0.7 kills. These are good stats for a leader of a Dash 2 team, but in Heroic, almost every player has a tight lineup this season. Aurora Gaming also lacks consistency in results against dash-2 opponents.

Expert Betting Tips

Heroic, even with its current problems, is far stronger than Aurora Gaming. It is hard to imagine a different layout. There is one close battle in the history of head-to-heads, but it is not an indicator at all. At the Roobet Cup, Aurora Gaming is not a team that has previously burned out in events of its level, as happened at the RMR qualifiers for the major in Paris.
