G2 vs BIG Prediction: The final battle of the day will be an elimination match

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 is one of the seasonal stages of the BLAST Premier league. There are no qualifying games for this tournament. Only twelve invited teams will play and compete for $177,500 in prize money. But the grand prize will be a ticket for the next stage, the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, awarded to the first through sixth place teams in this tournament.

The format of Fall Groups 2022 is unique and does not replicate any of the previous tournaments. The championship will be held in three stages: the group stage, the "knockout" stage, and the "last chance" stage. For the group stage, the teams - participants were divided into three groups of four teams in each. G2: Is the new roster a mistake?

There have been as many failures in the team's recent history as there have been victories. All the tournaments in which they participated were very difficult for them. It felt like they had to find solutions and fill in gaps and shortcomings during a game, which made the team's play blurry and lacking in confidence. The disappointing results led to making new replacements in the squad. The team left one of the old-timers of the organization, JACKZ, as well as the captain Aleksib who didn't justify the confidence. Thus, when we talk about the G2 team, we are again talking about a new team. And if the signing of jks actually seems like a good decision and a strengthening of the squad, the elderly captain of HooXi looks doubtful. On the one hand, HooXi built a great game in the previous team. On the other hand, now he has players of a completely different level, and it is unknown whether he has the necessary credibility to be a leader now.

This tournament was the first for the new squad, and already here, they showed their incompetence, taking the last place in the easiest tournament group. The new players have only shown themselves from the bad side and did not strengthen the team in any way. I would like to believe that the whole problem is that there was not much time to prepare, and in time G2 will return to the top of the world arena. But, after the first games, I don't believe in HooXi at all. The team's losses were not due to anything. They played with weakened opponents and on handy maps but were defeated because of poor play and lack of tactical thought. I doubt that in such a short time, the guys were able to reach a new level for themselves. And if the level of play is close to their level in the group, this will be the last match in the tournament for the G2 team.

The latest change in the lineup was the arrival of Rasmus HooXi Nielsen as captain. Also, an experienced Justin jks Savage was added to the new lineup.

BIG: They must win

The team under tabseN has always been known for its structured play and a solid game plan. With the new arrivals, BIG now has the firepower they lacked after XANTARES' departure. Now they have everything they need to play consistently well.

They experimented with their lineup for a long time, almost all last season. Finally, they came to the logical decision to replace tiziaN, which was long overdue. They brought back a former teammate, who didn't leave the squad but constantly played as a substitute for one player and another. Now the squad looks very strong and competitive.

The beginning of the tournament was a bit of a blur for them. They twice lost to the team Heroic on the nuke map. In the first match, they made many mistakes and gave up their match. It was clear that the guys hard gave the first match of the new season. They often saved and could not finish their round, taken in absentia at the required speed. As for the second match, their very experienced cadiaN prepared and tactically strangled the Germans.

Nevertheless, the BIG team does not look as deplorable as their opponents today. The Germans didn't finish the game, so they lost to a very strong opponent, while G2 squeezed everything out of themselves and still lost to weaker opponents. Now BIG is positioned to turn over their opponent and continue to fight in the tournament.

The last change in the lineup was the arrival of the legendary Fatih gob b Dayik as head coach. And also, Nils k1to Gruhne returned to the lineup.
