Fnatic is looking impressive in the fall of 2022. The team was able to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 16 playoffs and participated in the IEM Rio Major 2022 elimination matches. The organization has finally found the right combination of players capable of competing against the best opponents in CS:GO. FASHR, nicodooz and roeJ joined the team over the summer, and Fnatic's results have improved dramatically.
At the Rio major, the team had problems against teams from the top 10 of the HLTV ranking and only managed to win against Cloud9 on the first game day. At the same time, against the neighbors on the world leaderboard (10th-20th places) Fnatic won all the battles (5 out of 5). According to the statistics, the Europeans always take the next round after a successful pistol round, that is, they know how to play their opponent's eco-rounds. Also, Fnatic players played blinding grenades at the top level (0.29 kills were made through flashes)
Successful performances at two major tournaments lead to Fnatic becoming favorite to win Elisa Masters Espoo. However, at this tournament the team will play with a stand-in: KRIMZ got injured, the academy player Peppzor will play in his stead.
Complexity
- Current HLTV ranking: #24;
- Changes over the last 3 months: +23;
- Best map: Nuke – 75% win rate in 8 maps;
- Worst map: Inferno – 27,3% win rate in 11 maps.
Complexity had a boost in the world rankings because of one success at ESL Pro League Season 16. The American team successfully took advantage of their opponents' mistakes in the group, and then was two rounds away from sensationally making quarterfinals. However, as early as in October the team was not selected to the major and failed at the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 North American.
Over the past three months, Complexity's win rate is 50%. The team is not known for stability: they can get a confident victory against serious opponents like Natus Vincere and ENCE, but then fall apart against little-known Sharks. Complexity is more likely to fail at the beginning, but by the middle of the map they’ll make a comeback, turning the tables in the end. In the RMR qualifiers for the Rio major, they were good at 4x5 situations (30%), good at trades (23%), and good at defense (60%).
The American team is not quoted at the tournament as a favorite, and the individual level of players does not allow to guarantee a victory in any of the face-offs with Group B opponents at the tournament.
Expert Betting Tips
Based on the latest achievements, Fnatic's chances of winning are much higher. The European team has allowed their opponent to take more than 10 rounds per map in most encounters. The prediction that Fnatic will win with Handicap (-2.5) rounds looks like a great option. The odds for this outcome are 1.69 at 1xbet.
