Team FaZe got a strong start in the RMR qualification tournament, securing confident victories against Cloud9 (13-8) and Team Falcons (16-12). However, the next match will be BO3, which will add to the tension and be difficult for the team.
FaZe had a great start but then had a setback in the last match, losing to Vitality and missing the first chance to qualify for the majors in Shanghai. However, the team still has two more chances to make it to the majors, and FaZe will try again today. FaZe has had a pretty good year overall, which has put them in sixth place in the world rankings, behind the likes of NAVI, Vitality, and Spirit. The team had a great start to the year, finishing second at IEM Katowice 2024 and the Copenhagen Major and winning IEM Chengdu 2024 in April, which put them up there with the best of the best.
FaZe's main rivals for the top spot are G2, who have strengthened their position, although NiKo's possible departure may affect their results. G2 has had some great results recently, coming in the top four at the Copenhagen and Chengdu tournaments, finishing second at the Esports World Cup, and piling up wins at IEM Dallas 2024 and BLAST Premier World Final. FaZe will have to give it their all if they want to keep competing at the highest level and maintain their position in the final part of the season.
Fnatic
Fnatic got a strong start in the RMR qualification tournament, beating Rebels 13-3 and winning over the BB Team in a hard-fought match. Even when they played against Natus Vincere, Fnatic put up a good fight and only lost 9-13. Each subsequent game will be a BO3, with the winner getting a spot in the majors.
Fnatic is gearing up for their first appearance at a major after some lineup changes. Tim 'nawwk' Eunasson is stepping in for Aurélien 'afro' Drapier. Fnatic will be the 34th-ranked team at the RMR tournament in Shanghai, but they've got a good chance of success despite a tricky start with a new player. They haven't had much luck in their recent online matches, losing 0-2 against Into the Breach, Nemiga Gaming, The Mongolz and Metizport. This has given them a bit of a boost to improve their performance at the upcoming event.
The current roster includes seasoned pro KRIMZ, as well as bodyy, matys, blameF, and recently joined nawwk and keit. They'll all be looking to prove they can compete at this level and do better than they have done so far to qualify for the year's main tournament.
Expert Betting Tips
FaZe are the favorites, but the Fnatic squad has already shown on this RMR that they have been written off for nothing, and it is unlikely that we will see any defeat from FaZe players. We are waiting to watch three maps.
