The Russians had an inconsistent start to the RMR tournament. Nikita HeavyGod Martynenko played really well, but the overall level of the roster is still a bit of a concern. For instance, Timofey Yakushin seems to be a bit of an enigma. He doesn't always win the shootouts, depending on the strength of the opponents. We'd also like to mention the coaching work of Konstantin Groove Pikiner. Even though Cloud9 is lacking in individual strength, the team's tactical pattern is very interesting.
It'll be down to HeavyGod to decide the outcome of the game against Sangal. How often Nikita is in a key position is what makes or breaks the set pieces. If Cloud9 is lucky in the BO1 match with Sangal, the talented riffler is again, as in the series with Nemiga, able to win the map on his own.
Sangal
It's difficult to make any firm conclusions based on the last two games, but it seems that Sangal has reached their limits. While the game against the similarly ranked Rebels was won using all their strengths, MOUZ didn't give Sangal anything to unleash, as they're more skillful. No player in the second match had a positive K-D, let alone a chance for a comeback. Unfortunately for Russian fans, it looks like the game against Cloud9 will be close.
Both teams are on par, with similar recent results and one player who could make all the difference. Sangal has a strong Turkish duo in jotAAA and xfl0ud who can lead the team to victory. The only thing that Sangal is definitely worse at than Cloud9 is Maple and the upcoming draft, which is a big deal in a BO1 match.
Expert Betting Tips
Given Cloud9's recent results, which have been up and down, and Sangal's slight edge, we're willing to say that the second team will likely come out on top. However, the other predictions suggest that bookmakers still underestimate Sangal.
