The team, which had only been successful on the tier-3 scene in 2024, has finally reached a higher level. Making it to the ESL Pro League Season 19 playoffs is a solid achievement, especially considering their previous results. BB faced some tough opponents and was lucky with the bracket, but they also took their chances in such matches.
Just before the tournament, BetBoom Team replaced danistzz with Magnojez. The young talent from the FPL has fit right in with the new team and adds to the firepower. He hasn't had consistent performances so far, but Magnojez was the best player on the server in the deciding matches against M80 and Team Falcons. BB's stats in Malta aren't great. They could be better at realizing pistol rounds (less than 50%), and they have problems with attacks (45%) and open duels (46%).
The team's problems go beyond the game plan. Sometimes, they start well on the map, but after a couple of mistakes, the team's morale drops, resulting in a negative outcome. It happened at the Play-In in Katowice, at RMR, and in ESL Pro League Season 19. It was not always easy to finish matches without stress. The draw was in BetBoom Team's favor, but that doesn't mean nafany's squad will easily make it to the top 12.
FlyQuest
Nobody thought FlyQuest would make it to the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 19, but the Australians made a splash and entered the top sixteen. Of all the players, only Dexters has participated in the playoffs before. How will they handle the pressure of the stage?
In Group D, the Australians lost to Natus Vincere and Heroic. But in the other matches, they took their chances and went up against Ninjas in Pyjamas and won. INS was the leading player for FlyQuest in Malta. At the end of the group stage, he was in the top 10 of the ESL Pro League Season 19 individual rankings with a 1.34 HLTV rating, 100 damage per round, and 0.86 kills. INS has been on point in all matches, even against tier-1 teams. He might get a look from more established clubs this summer. FlyQuest also has some issues with pistol rounds (45%) and open duels (47%), but the Aussies are pretty good with grenades (33 damage per round).
The team has only recently started playing CS2, but it's already racked up a few impressive wins. At IEM Chengdu 2024, the team beat Cloud9, gave Virtus.pro a run for their money, and made the playoffs. So, FlyQuest shouldn't be overlooked, as INS is so good that it can win matches on his own.
Expert Betting Tips
The Russians and the Australians will make mistakes in the match because they're not playing perfectly. Both teams have a good shot at making it to the top 12, and there's no clear favorite in this match. So let's not make up anything but look at the more likely outcomes.
