Complexity is exactly where they should be both in the HLTV rankings and in the latest tournaments. At the Esports World Cup they took 12-15th place, losing in a crucial North American derby to M80. It seems that in 2024, fighting for the top 10 HLTV and one or two wins in the group stages is the ceiling of possibilities for Complexity.

The main problem for the team is that all the responsibility lies with EliGE. Jonathan will definitely be in the top 20 players of the year, maybe even make it to the top 10, but at the tier-1 level you need at least two or three such players to fight for the playoffs and achieve some victories there. Of course, Complexity does everything for its leader, the other players create situations for EliGE, although in practice it turns out the other way round - it is the star of the team who pulls out very difficult matches, while his teammates pull him down. Floppy, Grim, JT and hallzerk do not show stable and good Counter-Strike, from match to match their ratings jump exponentially. The top opponents have adapted to such tactics from Complexity, prevent EliGE from playing and win the series.

But at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024, there will be no such top opponents. Complexity can face either Virtus.pro, BIG, or Team Falcons on their grid until the final match. The American team is confidently defeating the former in 2024, while the others can't even fight on the Dash-1 level.

Metizport

The Swedish five-player squad is at it again at the Showdown. In the spring, the team reached the match for a slot at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, and even won one map against Team Spirit. Of course, after that Metizport shone more often on the international scene, but didn't develop their success further. Now the Swedes have another opportunity to shine in front of big screens and crowds of CS2 fans.

What happened after the spring Showdown? Metizport travelled to Rio for LAN, but came in last place. Then there were appearances at RES European and CCT Season 2 European Series tournaments, but not much success there either. Failures at the BetBoom Dacha and IEM Rio 2024 open qualifiers, and Metizport dropped to 90th place in the rankings. It would not have been remembered if it had not won the internal Scandinavian qualifications at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024. The team has amazing stats in mapple: in the last three months, the highest number of maps she has played is on Mirage with a 23% winrate (13 maps). It is successful on Inferno (85% for 7 cards) and Ancient (65% for 11 cards). Metizport, just like in spring, does not claim for big achievements. But they surprised everyone with their play then, they can do it now. But if we start from the recent performances, the Swedes did not make any sensations.
